Prices for this are comparable to the 2012 shows in Brooklyn and Newark aren't they?

Maybe it was VIP ticket prices but I remember some of them being over 2K.

Pit tickets will sell for 2k to this show. There is plenty of money in south Florida and people are looking for ways to go out and spend it.

Many celebrities live in South Florida. I expect to see a few of them in the audience.

This show will be different than the others I think. We'll get more slow songs and the setlist will change perhaps with a different opening or closing song.

We'll know when they do the soundcheck!

Spot on..TM along with LN and all are manipulation and fees for no value.. crooks. All keep eye.. the prices have been dropping.. and.. this tour I've scored LD for 8 events and then able to score at box office day of event PIT.such as Detroit. Had LD PIT, and my buddy brought his son, I told him no worries. We both 1 list price box office .. NO BS TM fees.
Yes little risky, but lots of this is big data analytics.. like this event.. list price tickets gone in minutes.. all then went on resale sites.. and Platinum premium TM tickets have been falling daily.

Hi Dan
no way 20% of vegas was unsold on a saturday night
on a full 65,000 seats that would be 13,000 seats
or because of end stage 40,000-50,000 that would be 8,000 to 10,000 seats
maybe your thinking of seats behind the stage or confusing the concert with a raiders football game

on florida- right now I see (3) three single seats platinum + whatever in the pit

also add
the Hard Rock stadium show in 2019 was hot, hot, hot as the tour opener and then the tour closer until about 36 hours hours before the show because of the hurricane and date change- weather will not be a factor because this is an indoor show.
the miami hard rock stadium 2020 super bowl was a $7500 get in the day of the game- because of capacity

No I am talking about the massive amount of resale tickets that never sold, because I was tracking it to the end. From my vantage point there were just gobs of empty seats from late promoter drops to unsold resale tickets.

I mean the show was technically a sellout, at least until the massive amount of drops week of, but that was how it played out. The prices were inching down but not fast enough and just few last minute buyers (the hotel/flight prices had a lot to do with this).

And I have seen this play out over and over again this year on a wide variety of events, both as a buyer and seller.

Maybe not 20% but it was a massive amount.

As of a few hours ago it was 150 platinums, a number that has remain unchanged, which means they are being auto-replenished from hidden stock.

Exactly this.
If Vegas had 20% no shows, had they shown up- they would have had to listen from the parking lot.
The similar LA and St Louis dire predictions based on all this research and data, were equally way off.

There are a handful of Platinum (seats) at best right now.
I'll believe this "artificial scarcity" theory for this show when I see it.
No doubt it happens for some of the large events, but not buying the notion of it being implemented here.

The only unknowns imo at this moment, is how many Pit tickets TM has left, when/if they drop the price to standard, and what happens in the resale market- ie how strong the remaining demand is.
There's no way they'll be unloading a ton via Lucky Dips either, for the few they sold, or selling new ones.

I hope I'm wrong for us fans sake, but more Platinums and/or Lucky Dips appearing is beyond remote imo.

Well, someone was certainly confident to buy up the 3006$ dropped couch seats and the gobs of 1006$ 100 level seats and mark them up. Awesome if it works.

I know this is an op-ed but Eric Fuller is a trusted source for information (to me at least) and he explains it a bit here, and I have seen it play out over and over including with this show (though it is possible they are running out of seats to trickle out)

Also curious what your experience is in this realm beyond a handful of Stones shows?

I believe Dan’s information. He has acces that we do not have. Last night 90 tickets magically appeared in the lower orchestra. I expect further drops all week(except the weekend). No doubt blocks of tickets are being held for the casino and promotor. Could be a miscalculation on their part being two days before Thanksgiving and very high airline costs.

Covid is over in Florida. Over and done with. Loads of snowbirds are down here as the temperatures and weather makes this the best time of year. Ticket prices will be bid up and up and up. Too rich for my blood. Anyways it will be a real blowout, everyone will leave with great memories. Including The Stones, their supporting musicians, all their crew that works behind the scenes.

Perhaps Mick will post a few photos, at the beach and in the salt ocean water. Whenever I am there, I snort in the salt water 5-10 times and blow it out my nose. This really clears out the sinuses and your mind. My health tip for Mick Jagger.

Just scored a "platinum" ticket in 113 for less than others they have in same section at "standard" pricing..
$1006 right now (a couple still available) for standard pricing.

This was "platinum" pricing for 113 row C for $850..confused smiley

Wow, TM AI acting up! grinning smiley

Hairball, you're right, I guess technically the Stones could say no to platinum pricing and resales, but they won't. They just follow what almost every other artist/act does. They basically let Ticketmaster do the scalping for themselves (meaning TM)

What's interesting is that on this tour, Ticketmaster resale has been an option for a handful of shows only (LA, Vegas, Hollywood). I don't know the reason for that.

A lot of shows were not resale enabled because they had so many tickets they had still to sell. Las Vegas and LA2 were not among them but St Louis, Minneapolis and LA 1 were.

My experience in my handful of shows *this tour* is that many of your predictions were wildly off. Admittedly you inflated the estimated number of no shows in Vegas, and similar predictions were also way off. Hyperbole and incorrect predictions don't help with credibility, nor does random screen shots with little explanation.

Here's my mea-culpa.
You were correct in terms of TM sitting on more tix to release, and I'm happy to be incorrect.
If attending, I owe you an apology and a beverage of your choice. smileys with beer

Decent deal for a "moderately" priced single on TM right now for those looking..

*Sec 205, Row C listed at $706. Good seat three rows up in second level.
Listed as "Platinum" pricing, but gotta be at or close to standard face, similar to the platinum I picked up I believe.

* Not my ticket- but I do now have a single upper available at face/cost after upgrading to a lower section winking smiley

(My experience is full time employment til recently in the secondary market tho the market is so volatile and unpredictable compared to pre-Covid)

LA did report roughly 81,000 across 2 shows when concert capacity would have been closer to 130,000 though they did have 5$ tix galore day of, even if we weren't offered any. Those and Lucky Dips likely weren't counted in that total at all as I do see obvious undercounts in the boxscores as well as faux sellouts.

Las Vegas did have an absolute staggering amount of unsold secondary tickets (and many of the primary drops in the lower 100 levels to the side tho slowly filled in, probably people with upper level tickets much like I did at GNR. I didn't buy into this event but was ticketless til that afternoon so watching very closely)

The main problem with Vegas was more due to lack of accommodations and pricey travel which is why I had to Greyhound with a 3am return. And waiting too long to release the drops

The screenshot is broker software that scans the page for detailed ticket count. Someone I sometimes sell tickets for on consignment has the software and gives me updated counts every few days. The number of GA platinum tickets has remained unchanged. I see the VividSeats ticket count from my internal pricing page in my point of sale system. I had a pit ticket on consignment but gave it back, clicking off the deactivated listing, that count is now at 661, keeps going up, again the brokers buying all the drops and marking them up may know more than I do but I have been burned too many times lately to play that game now especially on 1000$ tickets. I prefer 50$ tickets that are worth 100$.

Of course the promoters know by booking multiple stadium acts (Metallica, GNR etc) more than I do the chances they can sell so many high priced tickets last minute. I stopped messing with this a long time ago as a buyer when antivaxxers, Delta variant and market oversaturation created a total shitshow of epic proportions when it comes to selling tickets.

(The artificial scarcity thing I see over and over, I had a drop list of a thousand plus events, except this year they would flood back in faster than people could buy them and often start discounting, so I would have Ticketmaster on what were once hot events selling similar tickets for half of what I paid and was often turning a profit on prior to mid-July)

I think we can all agree it’s a shame how the ticketing is handled. I miss the old Ticketron days waiting in line all night.

Can’t wait for the show.

Was there twice this week. They have some amazing new Stones memorabilia on display : Mick's black military jacket from the Steel Wheels tour. A trippy Keith "sport coat" from the 70's. Brian's original white teardrop Vox guitar. Taylor's gold Les Paul. A white leather jacket of Charlie's and More. Very Nice.

The Vivid count dropped below 600 for the first time to 596 and looks like people are buying (or tickets being delisted) every hour now.

100 level wheelchair seats turned up at 781$, much less than regular seats in the same section. An hour later they switched to resale at 3725$ May whoever did that end up in a wheelchair and unable to get tickets to the event of his or her choice.

Here is the direct link to Lucky Dips, if anyone grabs anything, keep me in mind! It also goes to waiting room now so other people are checking.

Thx for that Dan. Wondering if anyone else has to confirm via text/email every time they click on TM site? That's new to me, but if I click away I have to revalidate each time now

Yes. Same thing happening to me as well. Seemed to have started yesterday. Always ends up with sold out message. What a bummer!

Been directing to the waiting room for a day or so now, same as a standard search. Not to do with people waiting, but the event itself as it's gotten close.
