well maybe if he had his hands surgically replaced with a 25 year olds and then practiced for a couple years

that being said he's not playing as well as he did in 2003 or 99 either i'd say he's back to 2014-2015 levels of playing in a lot of spots which is still a very impressive amount of improvement though at times (such as at the end of mr in charlotte) he's playing as fast as he did in 99/03 which is also still very impressive

Keith played way better during the first half of the bigger bang tour.

Keith is playing very well this fall. Perfect timing, decent riffing ;-) Of course we cannot compare with his youth but that would make no sense.

Have not seen any recent pics from the last 2 shows where he is smoking

well i thought he had but i noticed in the shinepigeon video that werther2003 posted here of the complete show in st louis at the beginning of miss you pay close attention to the far right side of the screen on keith's side of the drums you can see him light up a cigarette and also i don't know whats in that bottle on the table but he take drink of that too
so i guess more correctly we should say he's smoking & drinking less

Yes you see him light up a cigarette but hardly smoke it, probably out of respect for Ronnie, but clearly he has his cigarettes, good luck to him, the dude is immune to everything by now.

Big time agree here. Charlotte was fantastic, having experienced it in person. Hope tonight is another great one for the folks in attendance.

I remember reading early last year Keith quit smoking in October of 2019

He seemed to be firing on all cylinders tonight.
