New one:

The BBC Session Recordings
Side A
- You're My Girl (I Don’t Want To Discuss It)
- Cut Across Shorty
Side B
- Love In Vain
- Bad 'n' Ruin
Side C
- It's All Over Now
- Had Me A Real Good Time
Side D
- (I Know) I'm Losing You
- I Feel So Good

Faces Live at the BBC is the second set of highlights from the band's many memorable performances at the BBC over the years. Collected mostly from Top Gear and the David Lee Travis Show, this compilation highlights top performances from 1970 and includes rarer tracks and fan favorites like "Wicked Messenger", "Shake, Shudder, Shiver", and of course, "Had Me A Real Good Time.

maybe I'm too blind to see but only one track from the description appears in the tracklist...

Good point - maybe the information released by Rhino is wrong? Would they really only put 8 tracks on adouble LP ?

When I pointed out this inconsistency to Rhino Records I got the following reply:
"Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, we do not have information available beyond the description posted.
I apologize for any inconvenience."

This is both funny and sad. Talks about the little interest they are putting in this Faces campaign

On Facebook John Gray has now confirmed it will be an 18 track collection -= everything that was in the vaults (3 tracks missing)

Which makes more sense

I have pointed out to him that the Rhino and RSD websites are very misleading

Rod Stewart is making the rounds with Jools Holland to promote their upcoming album "Swing Fever". From an interview with Devon Ivie in New York magazine's Vulture site:

What’s the best unreleased song you’re sitting on right now?
RS: I’ve sent a lot of them to Ronnie Wood. I told him, “This is stuff we’ve recorded with my band, maybe the Faces would like to do it instead?” We’re still struggling to make this album. We’ll see. Some of them might see the light of day.

The Faces were so @#$%& good. Still hate that we never really got that reunion we should have, and also just in general that the band petered out as quickly as they did. Its maybe for the best, smaller body of work thats just all good, but still feels like we should have gotten more.

The Ronnie Lane documentary is fantastic. Great footage, great interviews from his band, from Clapton, Townshend.
