I haven't heard too many people buying tickets for New Orleans. Who has bought tickets to see the Stones in New Orleans?

Hope people got/get what they need in todays sale
Bought rear GA's yesterday and a pair of LD's today for both LA and Vegas.
It's a decent strategy for me when I want to hit multiple shows without costing me the price of a decent used car.
LD's turn out to be nosebleeds, off to the floor which I have always preferred even over an ok seat.
Already sitting on Nashville and Austin LD's..

Sometimes I have just given my spare tickets to total strangers at the venue. Good deed of the day. It will come back to you eventually =)

I celebrated my birthday yesterday with my friend Marie; she is a big fan, she has been to Stones concerts many times always in the pit, always good seats. But this time she is not going. Money, covid19, lack of enthousiasm, I am not sure but I was shocked when she said abrutly " I am not going".
I hope to go, to Pittsburg. But I wonder how many fans will decide like Marie not to go.

I'm not surprised. I've been a fan all my life, but wouldn't go if they played my home town tomorrow. Have been living and working in an environment of caution and respect for the safety of others for nearly 18 months and would not be comfortable at a large concert whilst still exercising precautions at home, in the supermarket. on the train, etc..
I hope you all have a great tour, but I can empathise with Marie and her decision to stay away this time round.

Appreciate those that are unvaxxed staying home.
The bottom line for me as it pertains to personal safety is this:
Less than 0.1 per cent of vaccinated Americans have been infected with coronavirus
Graig Graziosi
Sat, July 31, 2021
Less than 0.1 per cent of vaccinated Americans have contracted the coronavirus, according to date from the US Centres for Disease Control.
In a stunning confirmation that the existing coronavirus vaccines are an effective preventative to the virus, Axios reported CDC data showing that 99 per cent of vaccinated Americans have not been infected with the coronavirus.
"Breakthrough cases" - situations in which a vaccinated person becomes infected - occurred in 0.77 per cent of Americans who have been vaccinated.
Only .004 per cent of vaccinated Americans have been hospitalised due to the virus, and .001 per cent have died.
The numbers put into perspective recent reporting that has focused on breakthrough cases. As more Americans take the vaccine, the number of breakthrough cases will necessarily rise. This is a matter of statistics, not an indication that the vaccine is becoming less effective.

I agree that those who are not vaccinated should stay at home but that isn't going to work as people have paid for their tickets and will want to go. I can't blame them as high as some of the ticket prices are.
I sure hope they at least wear a mask even if it is not required.
Please sit in the nose bleed sections!

How do explain Connecticut then? The state with the highest Vax rate in the tri-state area? We are now back in a health alert situation with Delta spreading so rapidly we are on the verge of mask mandates again tho politicians are extremely hesitant (chicken sh!t really) to put them back into effective. However, it is "highly recommended" that all wear a mask, regardless of vax status.

I don't "explain" it. Data and science does.
The 30%+ people unvaccinated are driving numbers up and starting to stress our healthcare system. Again. And dying.. they're also doing a lot of that.
This is now a disease of the un-vaccinated.
How do you explain not getting the vaccine?

Very simple. I don't trust the media, the gov't or any of the pharma companies trying to profit off of it all. China intentionally released this disease, and they've blatantly said they won't even give notice when the next one is released. The vax has not been effectively tested, and I will hold out until such time that it is. I am not a blind fool lemming who will just follow the masses. People should question everything in today's day and age. I don't trust politician's on either side of the fence - the whole system is corrupt and needs to be tossed out. I feel safer without the vax than I would rolling up my sleeve to get jabbed. That's the bottom line of it all, and my HIGHLY AT RISK Type-1 Diabetic wife feels the same way, and her sister passed last year during all of this, so that should tell you something.

Fair enough. Not the time/thread but of the 4.18 BILLION vaccine doses given world-wide, when exactly is that going to be "effectively tested" enough for you?
10 Billion? 20?? Intentional ignorance isn't going to help, and ventilators are a lot more uncomfortable than shots.
Good luck to you and the missus.
*Lastly, a piece of cloth dangling un-affixed to your face isn't keeping anyone safe, pardner.

Obviously if you said only that my comments about Covid don't belong here you are probably right. But you chose to say it was crap. It doesn't belong on this thread. I come here to read about any info on the upcoming tour, not to read a bunch of boring and off-topic comments about COVID and vaccinations. If you insist on talking about this stuff go elsewhere!
