I saw LK and The Cult on that tour. I was never a LK fan but he definitely put on a great show. Better than the show The Cult put on that night.

Saw him open for Tom Petty supporting his first album, was a fantastic show!

Saw him a few times after that, one show he had horns and sounded great but kept having equipment problems and had to cut the show short.

Kravitz was on fire the show I saw. LET LOVE RULE had been out for a year and a half and that single was firmly entrenched. The Cult were on cruise control and it was the end of the tour. They were good, the crowd destroyed quite a few rows during Peace Dog, I thought they were much better than the previous tour, but something was a bit odd, there was no interaction. Turns out Ian and Billy had separate buses, weren't getting along, blah blah blah, so that most likely influenced the shows. They only played 3 songs from the album they were touring.

Kravitz opened for the Stones in 1994, coming onstage riding a motorcycle at the show I saw him open. He was big time by then.

Talented guy, for sure. I never really dug the cover of "American Woman". Kinda hard to outdo Burton Cummings' vocal on the original.

Mr. Cab Rider made me buy his first album, let love rule. Loved it. Lenny played almost all the instruments on that one! By the way, Karl Denson on sax!

Also loved Vanessa Paradis debut album, and when reading the credits, I was surprised to read that Lenny played almost all the instruments on that one as well.

So the expectations were very high when the 2 album was released. Mama said. Expectations widely surpassed: I became a fan!

On the Mama said tour Lenny recruited a new guitarist, Craig Ross. Still consider him one of the best modern age rock guitarists I've ever heard.

To add to the excitement, Lenny's participation to Wondering Spirit

Things started to cool down with the third album, that was a mix of great stuff and plain filler, and even more with his smash hit 5, that was basically all filler save a couple of goodies.

Somehow lost interest ever since
