i had a problem like that with my old lady. yeah, let her go, she's not the one you need. Try to put the stones every time you see her:
1. she'll love the stones
2. she'll hate you

Have the same problem with my wife.
Not that she hates them; but every time I play more
than three-four hour of Stones she wants to hear something else

the problem is, that we love the rolling stones more than our wife/ or girlfriends.....as i told my wife that i have loved the stones a lot longer than you......so its alright for all of us to get along....ha....she does like going to see them live...learn to live together.....the stones are not just a band they are a way of life!!!

One word: headphones! She can watch Regis and Kathy Lee or whatever while you rock out to the Stones.

"hating" the Stones speaks of an ungenerous spirit which bodes no good, no good at all.

some people can be saved, though. so Sater, how about this:
set a time period (in your own mind only! don't tell her) during which you'll try in good faith
to get her to hear the angel music that she's somehow missing. if it doesn't work, dump her. truly.

No base for a relationship, if you can't share the best moments in your life - Stones music and gigs;-)

She probably needs a subtle education to win her over. My suggestion, during a romantic get together or long drive put on sticky fingers, skip BS, go right to sway and let it play. Do this 2 or 3 times increasing the volume each time.

My wife was not a stones fan but I won her over with this album.

No seriously if your girlfriend hates the Stones that is a problem. Us Stonesfans are pretty extreme. We enjoy attending multiple concerts for an insane ammount of money. We like to play their records LOUD. Posters in all over our house. Wearing Stones t-shirts anywhere we go. All we do has to be Stones. And if it isn't, we'll make it Stones. During a romantic diner, we'll put up Stones. To a stranger we seem plain stupid. Infact, we probably are. But that's a different story. There's a whole lifestyle around being a Stones fan. The way you dress, talk, walk. Everything's got to do with the Stones. I know the problem. You always get "yuck!! they have such long hair" and they have a look on their face like "where do the synthezisers come in?'.

Find out what type of songs she likes, dig into the hundreds of Stones songs available and show her what she has been missing. There are probably 350 Stones songs she has never heard before.......... there is something for everyone.

A Stone's hater is just a Stone's novice asking for help.

i haven't been out with one woman that loves the stones as much as i do. i've taken them to the shows and they enjoy them and a few songs here and there, but as whole they aren't into them nearly as much as people like Keith Urban or Bonjovi type people.

Oh well, i've known the stones longer than the women i've been out with so they are going to have to deal with it.

i'd ask myself: what interests do we have in common? and how important are they?.........for me, i wouldn't give up the Stones for any girl....if she couldn't understand how important their music is to me, and realize that there's room for the Stones and for her, than she's not the one for me......harmless stuff really, but imo common interests are extremely important.......guess i lucked out...met her in a music club....she's a stones fan
