Just as some have mentioned above,a compilation such as this does show the stones have a wealth of great material,yes,even in these latter years! To the scores of lazy journalists & critics who roll out the same "Stones haven't recorded a decent album/song since..blah blah blah.."..well,in the immortal words of Sir Mick Jagger,"well,listen to this,c*nt!"

A lot of the songs on lists above are some of my absolute favourite stones tracks. Songs such as the glorious "Slipping Away",the grove fest of "Terrifying","Love is strong","Gunface",the bluesy and quite excellent "Break The Spell",to one of thier finest ever ballads-"Almost Hear You Sigh"..etc..

There are some good songs but pretty sad for a best of 20 years even if you include solo albums--it would be really sad if they had not release ABB.

The albums from that period are all good (some of DW is questionable) if you disregard a track or two from each album.They shouldn't be compared to the '68-'72 era.They should be compared,in my view,to other albums from their time.

"TOO TIGHT" is from 1983 so it wouldn't make it...Tom Petty...did you mean 1983-2005?
