Wow, I never knew that. Artistic licence indeed - Neil was closer to Florida than Northern Ontario, practically speaking. IMO, you’re a southerner if you don’t live north of the Wawa goose.
But sticking with Canuck lyricists, the second verse of ‘Suzanne’ usually gives me goosebumps...
Agree with you Swayed, Leonard’s lyrics are an abundance of riches and Suzanne is a diamond. But you’ve rather traumatized me with this post - the only time I was ever on a flight that had to abort a landing was coming into Wawa from Hornepayne...bad storm, broke through the clouds about 10 feet over the runway and immediately went into the steepest climb I’ve ever experienced. (And, good grief, how do you know Wawa?)
