I wonder what's new here? Way back in the mid sixties the media responded on songs like Stupid Girl and Mother's Little Helper and so on. The Rolling Stones "were a bad bunch" with no decency, "unlike The Beatles". The rebellious aura has been around them from the very beginning. Stones fans loved it.
Now Mick is showing a potentially new Stones song (very small, unlikely chance that it's for a solo album) with some potential political content (could very well be about a girl, though) and so many "Stones fans" get upset. I don't get it. It's music ... Stones music ... for heavens (or hells) sake ...
By the way, I like the clearly bluesy potential of the song. Can't (have to) wait for the end result.

I was really hoping it was a Promotional tease for a new single to be released today. Alas, nothing.

Sounds great to me! That sounds very much like the Rolling Stones at the their glorious lolloping best. If it's another track on the next album I'll be a happy boy.

Oh, and yes, the news is anti Trump. Its also anti-hatred, anti-lies, anti-sexual assault, anti-bullying, anti-complacency in the face of a deadly pandemic, anti-cosying up to dictators, anti-racist, anti-hypocrisy, anti-ripping off decent working people who place their faith in snake oil salesmen.... At first listen, it sounds pretty good with great potential. Just wish that Mick didn’t have to over-sing everything these days, it just wears me out.

I'm all for the fat Trump bashing, and the senile Biden bashing as well, but they're both such obvious targets it seems redundant at this point.
Is this really the best Mick can come up with? The general pubic reception to Getta Grip/England Lost was pretty weak (Sweet Neocon was no better), and this will probably go down just as bad.
