Towards the end of the year.

>will they do press conference like they done in NY??

Not likely. They do press conferences when the European tour begins, but not for the announcement.

They have the best PR agency in the world to handle this. They pick a date when there will be maximum press all over the Europe for such an announcement. So they know every major event and happening all over Europe, and select the best date. Some time during the next 2-4 weeks they are expected to announce the tour. But first most of the dates have to be final, They are still working on contracts and show bidding.

I think it will start same time with the selling of the new CD (rarities) in Europe.

to our friends over sea's i think you will be in for a treat...with the stones playing so well in the states, (without bang being a big seller)..
i'm sure the stones will be even better, behind a great reception of bigger bang as a c.d....it will give a lot more fan excitement to the show...
don't get me wrong, the stones are playing better than ever in the states...but if bang went over like some girls did, i think it could have been much more exciting.. have fun!

November 14th according to the last rumour I read - although I'd be surprised as the Japan and Aussie shows will surely be announced before Europe

If there is no venue at the new Wembley, I'll have Elisabeth II drink 5 pints of Guinees straightforward

I will be back home in England for when the Stones continue their tour. However after catching a few shows in the States I am almost nervous that by then the auto-pilot will be even worse like the Licks tour and we won't get as many songs as the US gets. They already have the set lists pinned down by the second it seems, Back of my Hand is not played much anymore and She's So Cold hasn't been appearing as much. Two of the show's highlights that I saw in Boston and MSG.

And what about Japan? Does anybody know when they will announce this? Or more information on the venues?

I'm quite sure they will change the setlist a little bit for Europe as they always do. I'm sure "Streets of love" will be played often if not regularly and I guess they will add "It won't take long" to the setlist. Hope OOC will be played more often, and they will stick to the two encore-thing. But probably the usual European setlist will be cut to 19 or 20 numbers which would be sad.

The dates should be announced on the 14th of November according to the french site : www.sympathyforthedevils.com.
They are to play Paris, 03/06/06 ( Stade de France) and Marseille : 01/08/06 ( Stade VĂ©lodrome). No date apparently for Lyon.

I hope they do more indoorshows this time. This stage is wonderful. Haven't seem them in the big one yet. But it's amazing

I do not hope so. The Stones are made for Stadiums. For massive audience and not restricted audience. This indoors wiil perfectly fit for....the next tour when Mick will not be able to move around like he does seem to do right now.
