C´mon that pic is from 1983. What´s wrong with it? The Crüe are a decent rock band with a crappy singer. So what? And why does suddenly everybody cares so much about the Crüe? Funny...
"And why does suddenly everybody cares so much about the Crüe? Funny..."
People are getting worried. A band with its own large fan base who people actually pay to see (by the thousands) are opening for the Stones and sure to give them a run for the money if not totally outshine them on their own stage.
YOU'RE not fit to wipe Daryl Jones' ass. He rocks. Adds a great funky edge to the Stones. Not to mention the fact that him and Charlie really get along.
Motley Crue sucks. So does John Melloncamp, BTO, Lynard Skynard, etc etc etc....
Hell, while we're at it why dont we start a new thread for everything that sucks!?
- Vibrato - Ronnie cant play anymore - Keith cant play anymore - Whats the best setlist? - Which Stones songs do you hate? - Who's the biggest Stones fan? - "insert whitty question just to see if people will respond" - Neocon - Mick Taylor is God. - Mick Taylor's solo effort is better than A Bigger Bang.
I feel like I'm the only one sick n tired of absolutely worthless uninteresting posts.
I think people are a bit afraid that The Crüe could steal them the show. That won't happen but The Crüe will definitely rock the @#$%& house. No @#$%& doubt about it. The Crüe just did a highly successful 10 month tour through the USA by themself and got a recent platinum album under their belt and a huge fanbase. They´re hot at the moment. As an Euopean I cannot understand how anybody can pay 400+ bucks for a concert ticket but whatever, I think the shows with The Crüe will be worth that amount of money. Maybe for the first time during this tour? Dunno...At least it's not some boring crap like Pearl Jam or something. The Crüe put on a great show. ALWAYS!!!

Aucoin...
Very well stated.
The vast majority, probably 99% of the Crue-haters on this board have never been to a Motley Crue show... so they speak from predjudice and ignorance, 2 real reliable resources.
The fact is that MC is one of the most exciting, dance-able, high-energy rock-n-roll shows to ever hit the stage...
And if you're a paunched-out balding phat-butt, your heart might not be able to handle the dancing.
Otherwise, do what I do and sandwich yourself between two slutted-out foxy biotches and dance your ass off !!
FWIW, if you go over to the Motley board you'll find alot of posts about how MC is lowering themselves to open for the stones, a "has-been" fossil-rock band, in their opinion.
I think both the Stones haters over at motley.com and the MC haters at iorr are going to be in for a shock in Seattle and Portland.
"It's just that demon life has got me in it's sway..."
I find it @#$%&' hilarious that all of you are wetting your little panties over a ROCK band opening for the Stones. There's never this much fuss when a shitty pop band open for 'em.
could it be that all you moaning whining girls are afraid that the guitars will be too loud? Jesus, one of the few dates that a real rock band plays and you all shit the bed.
most of the people bitching probably aren't even going to the concert and if you are, then just stay in the bar when they are on.

Yet another factually incorrect post from someone else who has sand in their pussy over Mötley Crüe.

Well drake this page is for everybody who can't afford a shrink or doesn't have a hairdresser who listens.
Anyway, why do you care? You hate Motley Crue (you've made that very clear), you obviously didn't go to the show featuring Motley Crue and yet you STILL need to know what Motley Crue were like.
Sand in your pussy over something that doesn't affect you in any way. Laughable!!
i've seen the Crue more times than you could wet dream of. therefore i feel obligied to tell you you're talking out of your arse. having seen them a ruck of times i feel qualified to have an opinion on them. i could also start a thread slagging off the mighty Ratt if you wish ?

Why go see a band that you hate? Or, if you've seen them so many times, what happened to make you hate them so much? Seems you've wasted your money over the years.

Whatever floats your boat I guess... You seem to have no problem in contradicting yourself.

LOL! Yeah, try it sometime - you might not need to vent spleen over something so trivial in the future.
Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx always mentioned The Stones as one of their biggest influences. Mick Mars admires Keith and Mick Taylor alot among Clapton, Beck etc and Tommy Lee is a huuuuuge Charlie Watts Fan.
