i never understood why concorde was not fuel efficient compared to aircraft which flew lower, and slower in airspace which gave a plane more drag, that is why concorde never became the plane it was designed to be, it was an engineering marvel but a commercial disaster in the long run, should never had been scrapped though.

Although, I thankfully lived nowhere near the flight path. I heard the noise first hand while stuck in traffic on the belt parkway. It was an extremely violent unbearable noise. My heart went out to the people who were subjected to it.

I think you get to Heathrow before you left Gatwick, but going in the other direction you arrive the next day.

It must be. He had it for years. Look, it's right hand drive. There was some brilliant footage on youtube for a while showing them all arriving and departing for Dirty Work Recording sessions in Paris in spring/Summer 1985. Keith had an old Rolls Royce then and had his dad with him. It was later deleted though. Ronnie and Jo were in a Peugeot 205
