I don't have some girls.I have all albums of THE ROLLING STONES but not some girls.Does the live version of licks tour sounds better or the studio version?

well you should buy that album, the studio version is fantastic, the live version is nice.

Studio version. The only really good live version is with The New Barbarians (Buried Alive 1979, Largo). You can find lots of OK live versions w the stones also, but check out the Barbarians-boot.

for me also barbarians version isnn't as good.

The version from India in 2003 is where it's at.CD called Dripping Away.

Then there's Steve Earles version done with The Supersuckers that blows the door off of Keith's version.

Duane in Houston--yeah its a very good version but "blows the door off Keith's version"? hmmm...
Keith's vocals suit the song so well, I don't think it can be topped.
Yet Steve Earle's attitude in his version comes from a very similar experience.

I think instead of coming down like a ton of bricks on new fans, we should see past what we consider stupid questions. We all started out at some point in time not knowing what we know today about the Stones. I think it´s great that younger people are getting in to the Stones, and we should be there guiding and helping them.
