On stage stumbles, falls, and face plants....

Can anyone recall seeing any of this happen either live, on video, or by word of mouth? If so, please share your story. I've never seen anything happen, I'm just curious.

(If you recall something on video, what show? Might be worth checking out)

Keith fell over during the opening chords of Street Fighting Man (Opening song) at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, 16th October 2002. I didnt see it but apparently was quite funny, he didn't hurt himself. Saw the skydome show 2 days later, was great and high-fived keith and ronnie on the way back from the b-stage!

I think Bill Wyman too a really nasty spill on the 78 tour if I'm not mistaken? might of been 81.

Yep, he fell off the stage July 10 78 in St Paul
As far as I know, there's no bootleg from this show circulating

Keith fell on his back in Gothenburg 1981 during Time Is On My Side - kept on playing! I wasn't there, but would have loved to see it. Didn't Keith fall asleep during Fool To Cry in 1976 as well?

The Stones didn't play in Gothenburg in 1981, must have the 1982 show, I believe!

Well either I must have been ofsight of Keith at that moment
or to Stones to remember this happening.
Nice to know though!

I have the boot of the 76 show that Keith fell asleep on. It was in Berlin during "Fool To Cry". It shows you how often these stories get blown up by Keith and Ron. Ron tells how there was this wil;d out of control screeching of feedback. The Wah Wah went crazy etc. When you listen to the tune, even with knowing it is coming you can hardly tell a snag in the tune LOL
Jagger has told veryu recently that he has NEVER ever fallen down on stage. He prided himself on it. Right on Mick! More and more I see Jagger taking pride in his own history lately. I know this is a small matter but it seems part of a bigger change in attitude with him.

Lisa lost her heel and fell during the The Hague Malieveld concert in 1998. Very funny, everybody was laughing on stage!!!

Cheers,
Wuudy

She fell in Paris at the Stade de France in 2003 as well.

I remember reading, in Wyman's book I think, about Keith getting a little too close to a live microphone and getting knocked out by a shock for several minutes. I believe it happened in California back during the mid-sixties.

december 3rd 1965, in sacramento.
he used his guitar to swing the mic into position and found out the hard way that it wasn't grounded.
Keith's first words on coming round were reported as: "Did I finish the show?"
yeah you did, baby! :E
apparently the guy who was head electrician at the venue at the time still gives guided tours of the spot where it happened.
and it was apparently just a few days after that that Keith took acid for the first time.
very electric week on Planet Keith. :E

supposedly the rubber soles on Keith's hush puppies saves his life.

I always found it odd that keith was wearing hush puppies, but maybe in '65 they were cool??
