well i posted that song, sorry but i didn't know that dvd was for charity
anyway i don't think anyone won't buy it because of our post. i have the song but don't have the dvd yet, i'm gonna buy it shortly, beacause listenin to hickory wind i know how good it is.

and as for the other question, to me the point isn't so much whether it's for charity or not, just:
how can we wonder why the artists don't release more, when so many of us just blithely take whatever we can get without paying for it.

that's a Don Everly tune, and the recording is from Keith's Toronto 77 sessions.
he recorded it again in 81, at Longview Farm -
you can find it on that fine site i gave the link to a page or two ago ...

hm, it works fine for me! you know how rapidshare works, right?
click the link; scroll down; choose "free"; scroll down again.
at the bottom of the second page there's a timer gizmo telling you how long you have to wait.
when that changes to "download" ... go for it!

that hissy old tape of those Toronto sessions could well be one of the greatest and most moving things he ever recorded - either solo or with the Stones
