Signed by JumpingKentFlash

There's no such term as "Too much Rolling Stones".

.........And I say: Wait until the tour is done, but write the songs on the road.

Just last week, apparently

She hasnt been laid in about 25 years, he heard and as shes a free agent and has been past her grieving stage for a while now, he apparently thought it was time to 'move in'.....

Personally I think its a business move - in the way that Michael Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley was.

It would be cool if they did a barebones bluesy album. With slow blues, some boogie (ala Shake Your Hips), and some straight up rockers. With no frills. Some sparse piano playing and no background singers. Just Mick and Keith singing.

I agree completely. Just the four Stones, no sidemen or background singers. Raw, rootsy and back to the basics!

I'd be happy with one more live album or live boxed set (maybe the ninth time is the charm) & one more studio album. If need be,the studio album could be five brand new tracks + the rest tracks from the vaults, finished up.

Please include Charlie and Ronnie from the start of the recording session. Spend some quality time weaving those guitar parts. Ron and Keith can cover the bass too. Mick, guitar fill only as little as necessary. Lots of harp. Keith and Ron back up singing.

Instead of going back to your families every night in your own suites all 4 meet in Keith's suite, lock the door, get the guitars out, some JD, some weed and make some more magic.

Agreed.

I think Mick s doing a bit too much guitar. I dont mid if e does, but just let keith and ron handle it. No Mick on bass either.

Petition signed: BillWebster, somewhere in Germany

(I wouldn't want to limit this to "one more" but one plus as many more as they like)

I want a 8 volume anthology, but of course much more inspired than the Beatles one.

A good model to follow is the BMG one, which is releasing lots of Elvis material such as concerts outtakes, recording sessions...

the original post did, though. If youre contradicting him, it kinda defeats the purpose of signing the petition, surely ? winking smiley

Make the album on the road like Stripped!

Yeah. But you gotta remember that I'm blind and stupid as a post. grinning smiley
I thought that I was signing for another album after the tour, or soon after.

well..Stripped was primarily acoustic re-recordings of old songs done in the studio and in concert, but its not beyond their scope to work on new songs while ON the road and record them at soundchecks and in concert etc (although I cant see them playing unreleased songs in concert, simply because they wont take that chance in front of this kind of audience)

REM did an album like that a few years ago ("new adventures in hi Fi") and it was one of their better records. Same with jackson Browne ("Running on empty" - a fantastic concept album about life on the road which was actually RECORDED on the road (live, hotel rooms, soundchecks etc) and which was the best record he ever made.

Its a nice idea, though and Ronnie (or was it Keith) actually talked about the idea of recording songs DURING the last tour - of course it didnt happen!
