Although a lot of people like to skip the opening act altogether, there are still some good artists that I'd like to see open for them. When they were in Toronto a month ago, Beck opened. I've never been a huge Beck fan, but he's gained my respect as a musician and as a performer. So here's my list of acts that I'd like to see open for them:
AC/DC - I missed SARStock and I heard that they opened for them in Australia but I'd actually like to see a future performance with these 2 bands.
Aerosmith - That would be kinda neat. The Toxic Twins opening for the Glimmer Twins! lol
David Bowie - Maybe Mick could invite him to duet on Angie!
Duran Duran - I happen to think that DD is a good band. They have some decent songs and would be a great opener. Hey, they opened for Bowie back in '87 on his Glass Spider Tour so why not?
Jet - This would be a really rockin' show if these guys opened imo.
So, who would YOU like to see open for the Stones?
Amending a much earlier post, in Chicago the Waco Brothers or Patti Smith.
In general, I agree with someone who once posted that a sampling of Cirque Du Soleil...it would be very cool, different, and becoming of the always cool Rolling Stones...
----------------------------------------------------- Oh, give me the beat, boys, and free my soul I wanna get lost in your rock and roll and drift away
Tina would be great...especially as a guest on honky tonk woman:-)

maybe mother superior (if you don't know them listen "maybe california") lucky peterson mick taylor's blues band with a jam during the show (i know i dream ...)
i'd to hear thoses bands with good sound (message for the sound ingeneer..)
Well..Linda Lovelace would have been a hot opening act but seeing how she’s no longer around best we go for a five song acoustic set from the Glimmer Twins.
Not the Black Crows - I saw them open for the Stones in 95 and they weren't the best. They are great in their own right but it is difficult thing to open for the Stones.
ACDC would be great. Otherwise, I always though Guns and Roses would have been good.
Any of today's fine bands would suit me fine. You'd get to hear the greats of today before hearing the true legends of the 20th Century and beyond. Perfect!
How about...
The Killers The Kaiser Chiefs Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Babyshambles (Who knows? It is POSSIBLE they could still be around then!)
