Hey guys, it's not tomorrow you'll go in vacations together.
Everybody is free is talk about what he wants. For myself, if in Paris, they'll only play the Stade de France, I think it should be without me. Big price for horrible sound. Thanks but not for me. This is a really commercial tour. Every tour is commercial but this one, Hou la la!!!!!!!

I understand Mathijs. for 15 years now, the Stones are not a real band. I would say that they "cover" their own songs. Some original members and a lot of back-up musicians to fill. It's an itinerant circus saying : come on and see on stage the old legend, we look like the stones, we own the name and legitimity. It's a machine. A very good machine, but only a machine. This is probably the reason why Bill leaved the band. They don't live for they music like they used to do in the past. They're older and different, and that's that. But What can we really expect ? They're over 60. It could be worse, I think.

Couple questions: Did you see Satisfaction played in Chicago Soldier Field this tour ?? The best they ever played it !

Did you see Jumpin' Jack Flash played at Giants Stadium ?? As good as they ever played it...

As for your assertion "Keith hasn't been playing FOR YEARS"... anyone reading that would assume that "for years" goes back at least 5 or 10 years, certainly a concert tour or two, which would include ALL of Forty Licks...

If you don't think Keith (and Ronnie and everyone else for that matter) was playing on Forty Licks, then you probably didn't attend any of those shows...

BUT, what you'll probably say is "oh, I saw them 10 times on the Forty Licks Tour"... in which case I have to ask why in the hell would you see them X times if you think "Keith wasn't really playing" ???

I mean, it's fine and then some to criticize the hell out of the band, but to say that Keith hasn't been playing for years, or that he's not playing tremendous sets this tour is just not accurate.

"It's just that demon life has got me in it's sway..."

The Stones not a real band?

.............................

To me, they are above all a band. A great band. The best one, indeed.

Some people grow out of the Stones. They simply don't like the Stones anymore. No worries. Just listen to whatever you like. But don't mix that up with the fact that most people who go to the shows on this tour love the shows and what the Stones do. And if you don't like the Stones anymore then don't expect them to change ito the way you want them. They are grown up guys now. They do what they want to do. They play the songs they want to play. They release new songs they like to play. They are in control. And I like it that way. So do hundreds of thousands of other fans who have seen them live on this tour.
