Even if you think you hate the Grateful Dead, you've got to hear the two songs with harp accompaniment -- Bird Song and Ripple. Two incredibly gorgeous pieces of music.

I saw them a few days later in Asheville, NC. What a great laid back show of over 3 hours of music.

Well done Bob & Wolf Bros.

As the Dead are my 2nd favorite band (Stones #1 of course), I finally saw Bob & and the Wolf Bros on 3/1 in St. Pete. They blew me away! Nothing too fast tempo wise, but they really swung the groove. I yelled up to Don "Hey wheres the new Stones album" but he was busy laying it down "Thump Thump". So, overall I really enjoyed the show and has helped me get ready for Dead & Co's summer tour!

Cheers!

Checked out the flickr link. Never knew there were so many Corvair aficionados out there. Reminded me of a family vacay when we went to Luray, Virginia, to see the caverns. We did not know that the annual meeting of "Dukes of Hazard" fans and the car, "General Lee" festival was happening there that weekend. Copies of the "General Lee" car and good old boys were to be found everywhere. My most vivid memory of that trip is we went to a Pizza Hut near where we were staying and, as we walked through the restaurant, people already seated advised us not to eat there. We soon knew why - the service was terrible, the food even more so. We walked out refusing to pay and ended up getting carry out from Mickey D's. I wonder if the "Dukes of Hazard" thing still happens.
