Maybe a group of us can plan a trip to the National Blues Museum. It's walking distance from the Dome.
Anyone up for this in the early afternoon on Sunday?

I read on Trip Advisor that the BBQ restaurant next door, SugarFire, offers discounts to the museum, so that seems like a good choice for lunch.

I just arrived into St Louis, it took all day with two flights from Boston. I live near the concert venue, just a few blocks away. This area is completely empty. May be it is daytime business areas, but nothing else. It is not "dangerous", just empty. A homeless pushing a shopping cart with his belongings said "I like your jacket". Not unusual they say that. He was the only homeless I saw in 6 x 6 blocks. And one or two bars and restaurants. And Hooters...

From Explore St. Louis
“Face coverings are required at all times while in The Dome at America’s Center!”
Guests are required to wear masks at all times, except while eating or drinking as part of our health and safety standards. Eating and drinking is allowed in your seating pod. Eating or drinking is prohibited while walking from the concession stand to your seat.
Face coverings must be fully covering the nose and mouth at all time.
Compliance with health and safety rules is mandatory, and attendance is conditioned on such compliance. If a guest violates any health and safety rules, the guest may be denied entry to or ejected from the venue, with no recourse for ticket refund.

Crazy to think Valentines Day 2020 theinsurance office I work in of about 300 people was a buzz with everyone trying to get Stones tix. Flash forward...everyone is eating tickets because they are opting not to go and realize the resale value for St. Louis tix is next to Nothing. Sad and depressing compared to the vibe back in Feb 2020.

Sounds like a lot of cities really.. Seattle is not much different.
Plenty to do in the day, but folds up at night.
LA is a good example of a major city where there's a lot of stuff going on right by the venue, but none of it appealing.

I am excited to be headed to St Louis! A few days early but I might catch some sound checks/rehearsals at the Dome and will report if I hear anything. Outside Chicago Soldier's Field a few days early was great fun before the 2019 tour. The Blues Museum, live blues, Zoo, riverfront and a few beer stops will keep me occupied otherwise. I hope to run into a few IORRians around town or at the Marriot. The band is on tour, its very exciting, I cant wait to experience a live Stones show again. First of five planned shows for me this year. Enjoy all!

A group of us plan to meet for lunch at noon on Sunday at Sugar Fire and then tour the blues museum. Hope to meet you there!

If anyone knows of a pre-show bar to gather with other Stones fans, let me know!

I would suggest Over/Under, nice patio, sports bar, looks like great weather. Sports bar, decent food.
Also I believe Rosalita's about 3 blocks west might be a good option, I think they have a good size patio, very good mexican food too (for St. Louis; this ain't San Antonio though!).

Coming from AZ I doubt I will test Mexican food in STL! Ha. What about Paddy Os? Is that the closest to the venue? It looks huge. I was planning on Over/Under to watch so,e college games Sat.

I want a bar closest to Dome to pre-game the show Sun.
