I think it's about time for Keith to change his setlist, maybe we will finally get to listen to Coming Down Again live?

I’d love to hear it, but believe he doesn’t perform it anymore. I’d settle for Thru and Thru though. And Before They Make Me Run is always a treat.

How-a-bout Happy?

Happy is great, I’ve just seen it performed so often, and the others seldom or never. I’m greedy. smiling smiley

Can never hear Happy enough which is his greatest tune ever imo. Still saddened he didn't play it last summer, but there's hope he'll dust it off again for this upcoming tour.
Pretty sure Thru and Thru was played quite often during Licks and Bridges (seems I've seen it quite a few times anyways), and while it not a complete bore, it's far from his classic best - You Got the Silver, Happy, etc.

I knew you would comment on this Hairball.

I knew you would know I would comment on this. smiling smiley thumbs up

Not to use the "Cone of Silence", are you attending any shows east of the Mississippi? I sure would like to meet you.

Yes it would be great to meet, but as of now Dallas is the furthest east I'll possibly be going to, and even that's not a guarantee yet.
Currently San Diego is the only 100% as it's a relatively nearby location, great weather, tour opener, lots of friends and relatives attending, etc., etc., etc., etc......have you thought about venturing west!

Negative, but thinking about Dallas. Still waiting for the best BBQ answer. Also, would like to try Texas two-stepping again. That was a scream.

They may be old. The desire to play music together is there. So is the demand to hear them from the people. Not many get to this stage of accomplishment and good humor as they have.

Anyone have experience with trying to "upgrade" tickets thru Ticketmaster?

I tried shortly after tix went on sale, and they told me because my existing tickets were AmEx pre-sale tix I couldn't upgrade to non-amex seats. Is it possible they'll allow me to do it once the pre-sale tix are released to the general pool? I didn't want to spend another hour+ on hold with customer service if it was a non-starter.

Travel Insurance Question Attending Stone's Shows This Summer
Posted by: Sockers56 ()

I plan on attending five shows this summer. I will be flying to most of the venues. Would you recommend travel insurance? Would travel insurance cover event cancellation in the off chance a show would be postponed. We all know what happened last year. I guess I could buy a refundable ticket but that will add to the cost. Any advice will be appreciated.

Read the fine print of your travel insurance.

And it is "Stones'", not "Stone's" smoking smiley

"A Stone's Show" is another one of the things Taylor could have done

I would be very surprised if that would be covered.

I would look into "Cancel for Any Reason" cover on your travel insurance, as regular travel insurance will usually only cover you for limited and very specific reasons.

If he did solo-shows between 1969-1974, that is winking smiley

I would NEVER travel without travel insurance.

Travel insurance cover accidents, if you break a leg, or if something happens to you while on travel. Otherwise hospitals are VERY expensive, it might ruin you not having travel insurance.

On the other hand, travel insurance does NOT cover cancellations of shows or other expenses due to travel restrictions or other reasons of local kind.

Life is not risk free. There is an economical risk when you invest in a travel. Just make sure that most of your hotels, travels and so on are refundable, that is your best insurance.

I’m a travel agent. I deal with three travel insurance companies. They are all slightly different in their inclusions/exclusions. You have to ask THEM. Sorry.

Go to insuremytrip.com which is a great travel insurance comparative site, and as someone else noted be sure and specifically look for those with a "cancel for any reason" clause.

Well Travel Medical insurance is a no-brainer. Trip cancellation on the other hand, which I presume is what you mean, is up to your own preference. I've never used trip cancellation (although certain credit cards will cover that, if you use them to pay for your tickets, automatically), and probably won't help if the show itself is cancelled.

"Cancel for Any Reason" is the only way you'll get anything back.

...that usually gets you 75% of your $$ back.

most companies require you buy it "30 days prior to travel"

call. ask questions. read fine print.

it might be cheaper to buy the "fully refundable" airfare....but, again...look into the specifics.

Good point, and they usually require it to be purchases within a certain time period from when you put money down on the trip.

In related news, a lot of airlines have announced relaxed rules and waiving of some fees as it pertains to change fees and cancelations because of the virus.
So far the dates don't reach to the May/June concert dates, but I imagine they will keep pushing those dates out depending on the impact of the virus.

I am SHOUTING because it took me an hour at least to clean out a lot of posting stuff that did NOT belong here a week or so ago, ahead of making that announcement.

As an EDITOR I am in charge of the content of this site, the structure, and how it works. I hardly shout, I am normally soft spoken, but some times a message needs to be SPELLED OUT, when people do not follow the posting policy.

When I see a STOP sign at a street corner, I don't think anyone is shouting at me. To me it indicates the importance of the message

I'm thinking of buying pit tickets (never been in the pit before).

For anyone who's been in the pit: how LOUD is it?

Thanks.

The people packed into the Pit will have the best chance to catch a guitar pick or a drumstick....and a virus.

So it is just two months until the Tour kicks off. When does the rehearsals normally start?
