Your glass is half empty. Mine is half full, so I prefer to think that it WON'T be the last time. Time will tell.

Mick had said once in an interview that it could be the "last time" for certain members of the audience: "They could get hit by a bus...for them it WAS the last time!"

It will be the last time. A giant comet will hit the earth next week, killing 90% of all humans and all bands except Bon Jovi, who will subsequently be eaten by giant mutant cockroaches.

There's an old joke about the nuclear warheads falling and Keith being the only person to survive, stumbling out of bed and saying "Eh boys, wot was that bright light?"

I fear it is. I want so see as many shows this year and next as I think they do plan to call it a day. I could be wrong but that's my theory.

I do think they have deserved the right to retire in dignity and I hope they never stoop to an Elton John/Celine Dionne gig in Vegas.

OT: btw Chuck Berry turned 79 some days ago and he is actually on tour in Europe (happy November 7!), last time I saw him he was 75 and he really rocked the house - Jerry Lee Lewis looked quite old, even Little Richard was pale against him... and both of them are some years younger than Chuck!

I read on different boards that this is the last world tour. I THINK, but don't quote me on it, that Stonesdoug even wrote it somewhere on Shidoobee.

If it really is "all about the music", how cool would a sort of an "Unplugged" tour w/ Ronnie & Keith just sitting around trading licks and Mick sitting on a stool. I don't know it Mick could sit in a chair and sing. He couldn't go 5 minutes w/o struttin'. How about a ballad tour!!!

Never.

Keith and Ronnie already had their turn calling themselves the "New Barbarians" in 1979 - maybe they weren't unplugged but they sure were unearthed. I don't think Mick would like to be part of such an experience (especially given the fact that neither Ronnie nor Keith have developed a more together stage personae since)

They will never announce a last tour because they will never stop. They are authentic artists. They love what they are doing. And so we do.
Why would they stop???????????
