I think BLACK AND BLUE is one of the great underrated Stones albums, however for many rock fans it was too "black" but that's what I like. With the inclusion of "Worried about you" and "Slave" it would have been a classic (well, I'm addicted to "Slave" and "Hey negrita" anyway).
For me the best 2 songs are "Hey negrita" and "Fool to cry".
My girlfriend says she likes "Fool to cry" and "Hot stuff" best.
I counted all the votes given until here and these are the results (I left off the votes of peoples who couldn't decide or who gave 3 songs instead of 2):
1. Hand of fate (14 votes) 2. Memory motel (12 votes) 3. Fool to cry (8 votes) 4. Hot stuff (7 votes) 5. Hey negrita / Crazy mama (each 6 votes) 7. Melody (5 votes) 8. Cherry oh baby (1 vote)

1- Hand of fate 2- Fool to cry 3- Melody ( sorry Billy but it's one of the very few times the Stones venture into Soul/Jazz music with some success IMO.Jagger's vocals are awesome.
Dislike Memory Motel ,way too repetitive, boring song in my opinion.

Now that would have really been interesting and appealing if these were included. They would certainly compliment the other 8 tunes. However, Black & Blue remains unique considering the brevity of it.
For various reasons, Black & Blue will always be my favorite Stones album.

Those are indeed two great songs ("Slave" is one of my all time favourites) but the earliest version with a vocal on it wasnt recorded until 1980 - they retained the backing track from 1975
the '75 take of Worried About You is pretty good, but the '79 version is definitely an improvement, vocally and lyrically.
