If so can you check the page(s) that show the Brian in Courtfield Road session. Is this all there is? Are there anymore in the contact sheet?

I had the prevelidge to see the book in Gered's (former church) studio ages ago. An amazing collection of sheets indeed, huge book. I would have loved to own it, but .... could afford it. But what I remember is that there were some people who could afford it and bought it. There must be someone on this site among those ...

Just checked the book. Couldn't find any of those pics (including the ones you posted) but Gered says on p.148 - "Unfortunately, the shots I took of Brian in his gothic flat in South Kensington were lost many years ago and all I have now are a couple of colour slides".

Thanks for looking. Interesting. I scanned those 3 from Stone Alone.

Since Gered said that some more colour slides appeared on Getty, I let him know and he rightfully got them back.

I've heard of similar cases with some of the photo libraries claiming ownership of pictures they "have in their collections". Glad Gered got some of his back.

Gered told me (again, early start of this Century) that the original negative of the photo that fronts Between The Buttons is also lost. He did send it to DECCA at the time of the sleeve production and never got it back. A real shame too.

A truly magnificent photographer!! I have a double book collection of Stones pix that was produced some time ago.

Edit: Clarification. I have I-Contact, and if there's another just as good book out there I'd grab that as well....

I have this book and its totally great. Some nice shots from hometown Sacramento in there. I spent hours looking at it when I first got it. Got a signed Keith photo with it too.
