That looks like a tribal brides' head dress, maybe North African.

Anny high solution pic available?

d.f

PS: Berber Jewellery would be the right term, however, his Morocco trip (67) was the year after these pics were taken (66).

Biggest freely available (1500 x 1500) is via Gered's twitter, opening an image in new tab and adding :large to end of image file names.

Odd how the flat is No. 1 yet appears to be in the middle of a row.
Noticed Prince Stash in the first clip. Was he regarded as a good influence on Brian? He also hung out with Keith but seemed to be out of the circle by the time of Brian's death.

The Bailey's hotel and small Courtfield Close take up the first part of Courtfield Road on that side of the road.

Stash seems to have been a good friend and gives good insight about then. He was in Stones circle till atleast 1973. Appearing at Court with Keith and Anita that year.

Of course..forgot about the 1973 court appearance.
I've come across the odd article about Stash. Quite a character who seems to have lived a bit of a charmed life.

Stash was in close Stones circles until at least the early 80's, when he was around when Marlon Richards lived with Anita Pallenberg in New York in houses rented by Keith. Mick Taylor and Marianne Faithful were also part of that scene.

Didn't know that. Outside my era of interest. grinning smiley

In his book, Keith mentions Stash doing something that brought their friendship to an end. I wonder what it was?

I don't know really. I do know that this early 80's New York scene was really out of this world. All these people living in huge New York houses without furniture doing drugs 24 hours a day.

I think he was Brian's ex driver by 1969?
Also, did he not spill the beans on Brian's 'lifestyle' to The News of the World' shortly after Brian's death?

I always like this; think it is impressive work, when someone takes photos and pics, all well known to us, but assembles them to create a narrative, a time line.
Where we then can conclude that "Ah yes, this is what happened on that very day".

Yes, I'm pretty sure this is berber jewelry - abride's head dress.

Does it fit timewise with this pic that he brought it from Morocco?

It's pretty amazing that in wildly different cultures, removed in time and geography, you see women using eyeliner as an expression of beauty. And it's not like they had the Net telling them "this is what Paris and Milan have created for the new spring look".

Thanks for this. Volcker is very critical of Brian....but of course Anita went along with it as well. She could have refused.
