Ah yes, the infamous Glittering Guillotines tour. Good, but a few too many warhorses.

This has always cracked me up. Obviously it remains so:

Mick Jagger (September 1997): No songs from Dirty Work!

I keep trying to put ('80s) songs in, and either they don't sound very good, or no one's very enthusiastic about it. I can't make the band enthusiastic about songs they don't seem to be enjoying. You'd think (Keith)'d want to... Well, if (Dirty Work) was his record... You'd think he'd want to play something from some of those things. It's not only Keith, it's like the whole band is, like, Well yes, er... We played Undercover on the last tour.

Very little good music was produced in the 80’s, with the exception of Prince RIP

July 7th! A nice long 4th of July weekend in the States...I can live with that.

Book NOW for hotels!

this is especially the case if you are staying anywhere near a beach.

and be prepared for traffic like you read about.

Otherwise...see you there!!!
I live near Hartford, so I'm just planning on driving up and back that day (or days...it'll be after midnight). Done it for shows at Gillette several times...it's not a big deal.

Same... but from New Haven area... same 84 to 91 and traffic will be a bitch but who cares after a show. I do same for MetLife shows

“But in all the future gigs, we want to keep the audiences as small as possible. We’d rather play to four shows of 5,000 people each, than one mammoth 50,000 sort of number"

Sorry Hairball meant to say GA1 Row 1 SRO. That's why it through me off but what is SRO wondering

As far as I know stonesfrkk, GA 1 and GA 2 are PIT and there are no rows. SRO means standing room only.
Maybe someone else can clarify and/or verify.

SRO is Standing Room Only, as Hairball said. For GA, row numbers are meaningless, so ignore that part. (They just have to put something in that field.)

Nice Quote. Some of my friends who are casual Stones fans love the 80's and 90's stuff. I think its great too and more of it couldve been played in past tours. Some of those songs would have been amazing to hear in concert. I predict they will at least do Mixed Emotions once or twice this tour as they did in the Desert.
