Just the slight correction; they lived together during periods of 1962-63,
but Phelge came in later; though his impact & company remained a while after
the South Chelsea/World´s End-era (he seemed to be closest attached to keith in the beginning, but during the post-Edith Grove-era Brian & Phelge were like the team). I also recommend Nankering With The Stones by Phelge, dont really know the difference beteween Phelge's Stones : the untold story of the Rolling Stones from Edith Grove and beyond & Nankering, but the former seems more detalied, at least its a thicker book. But the latter is enuff for me. Still; I`m gonna try to get hold of the former meself.
I enjoy reading Wyman´s (he´s seven years older than Keith & Mick, remember)
comments on Polka Dot Perkins, Green Jenkins etc; as well as reading about
Doris Richards comin there supplying food etc (Shepherd´s Pie?) to the starving, freezing lads.
More recent shots:
Phelge.
102 Edith Grove.
A full Nanker.
