FYI Temps inland are OFTEN if not almost always COLDER in Fall and Winter. Ocean breezes are warmed by the ocean water which is warmer than the air...looky up.
I live near the coast in Socal and can attest to that. The opposite also holds true - in the summer it's much cooler here on the coast than it is inland.
But not sure what your point is, and how it relates to the upcoming tour?
