She's So Cold 2005

Love this song in the set list, has been a highlight of every show I went to this tour. sounds very nasty, similar to how it was played in 81/82. One question I had was who is playing the lead and the opening riff. I thought it was Keith but if you watch closely its clearly not. For anyone who has the Fenway DVD you can see this because the camera is on him when the song starts.

It's Ron who starts She's So Cold (used to be Keith...obviously) He was right in front of me at the Hartford show on 8-26-05.

Thanks Local27, that is what I thought, but it threw me off since this used to be all Keith.

I like this song well enough, but it's an odd choice for a tour with otherwise so few gems. Similar songs like "Hang Fire" and "Neighbours" are superior, IMO, and the band has more experience with them.

It sucked in Washington - would much rather have heard get off my cloud, shattered, emotional rescue or iorr in that slot.

ITs a garage band song I hope i never see it again Along with Shattered.

It is anything but a 'garage band song'. Well, perhaps live it is - but then so are many others when they play sloppy, (eg most faster numbers on '78 and '81-82 tours).

With reference to the studio version. It is wonderfully textured and has powerful restraint and consumate class. It never quite 'comes' - which is the whole point.

It is not in the same vein as Neighbours, Shattererd and Hang Fire.

She's So Cold is a great song and I'm glad it's a regular part of this tour. I'd like to see some more rarities, but not at the expense of She's So Cold!

I can't wait to see them do this song in San Diego and Phoenix. Now I just hope they play "Sway" in either one of these cities.

I consider She's So Cold to be a raritie (even though it is somewhat of a minor hit for them)

I saw it in Detroit and it cooked. The guitars are turned way up

nice version this tour , very clean and mick sings closer to the album version
rather than the raunch 0f 81-82, which was also very good imo

Great tune. Always wanted to see/hear it live. Great experience in Chicago when the 5 newbies I brought with me got to hear it. IMO, its one of those "ethical rocknroll tunes". When I introduce someone to my favorite band I always love throwing it in among Star Star, Rambler, etc...

Blondie does the acoustic guitar, and well I might add. He knows his role and doesnt overplay.
