I remember being at a party where in order to enter the party one had to drink a shot of Everclear (grain alcohol), and once inside the party I witnessed a guy attempting to remove from the record player Love You Live, Around and Around was playing. He wanted to put on Supertramp. So in my intoxicated state I went over to the guy and reamed him out for his poor thinking and decision-making skills. We struggled briefly and seconds later Around and Around was playing again. He wanted to fight me, so he got thrown out of the party. And we listened to the Stones for the rest of the evening.
Ever since I've always considered Around and Around to be an ultimate party song . . . and I've learned not to drink grain alcohol out of the bottle in large quantities while in a public place.
I was always kinda partial to "It's Only Rock & Roll"
1) If you can't rock me 2) Ain't to proud to beg 3) It's Only R & R
A couple ballads, some more R & R & so on..............ending with Fingerprint File.............. Guess it depends on what kind of a summer party your attending and the nature of your game! Hmmmmmmmmmm Beggars Banquet maybe put that up next,,,,,,,,,,,
Partywise I'd go with ER and then SG. And I'm not even a huge fan of ER - but it's good party music. At least it can be shut off once Keith's sleeper AAY comes along.
Hotrocks is great to have as background as well at a party.

Have you ever lent somebody $20 and never seen them again? It was probably worth it.
