The NCAA College Football Championship game is being played tonite. The broadcast came on the air with the build-up films of the two contestants, Alabama vs. Clemson, all to the background music of the Stones “Gimme Shelter.”

It don’t get no better!

"Take all the pain...It's yours anyway"

Yep 3rd championship in a row for Gimme Shelter. Love hearing it and it’s Saban’s favorite song. Didn’t go our way tonight but Roll Tide.

I'm mostly ambivalent about college sports, nor am I a big fan of either Saban or Swinney...but since Saban loves Gimme Shelter so much, I can't hate the guy.

Swinney comes off like a creepy '80s-era televangelist.

I remember reading an article explaining Saban's history and love for the Stones and the Headline was something like: "Sympathy For The Devil: Nick Saban" with a picture of him in a tense coaching moment. It made me think of the RS cover when Brian died that shared the same headline.
