it would be kind of odd if the Stones did have lots of Grammys. Im not exactly sure why but it would be.
rock bands usually dont get them do they? its usually solo performers..

True. The people with the most Grammys are mostly individuals, people like Aretha, Allison Krauss, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Vince Gill, Eric Clapton. And you can see most of them straddle several genres with multiple categories, which boosts their chances. The only band with serious Grammy bling is U2 with about two-dozen wins. Anyway, it was a silly question in a rather blah interview.

But the impression I get from the interview is that it is basically "fun" to be Mick Jagger and do what he does whatever it is. There is no a struggling artist or a man working his asses off to get the bread there... basically he is like any retired person in his seventies having accomplished everything in his life without any need to prove anything to anyone any longer but just do what one pleases... With Mick that acquired freedom just happens to be still damn financially and artistically productive... And having still people like us closely following his doings with our expectations and even 'demands' from him...
