It's the March 12, 1995 show.

This release seems to be very Japan-oriented (if I may). There is a special edition linked with Exhibitionism.

The extra Tokyo90 release had vinyl and CDs. I hope we get some more for this one beside what has been announced yet.

So this isn’t going to be released in the USA?

Europe is getting it, but no date yet. I would imagine North America will as well. I would imagine Universal Japan announced this first to tie in with Exhibitionism. If it was a Japan exclusive, it likely would be Ward Records.

I don’t see how Ward Records could be involved since Universal already announced its own exclusives...

Regarding the cover, it doesn’t seem new. The same assemblage was used in 95. See for instance: [www.ebay.com]

The write up on the pre-order from Cdjapan says this.

Japan exclusive reissue. Features The Rolling Stones' concert held on March 12, 1995 at Tokyo Dome. Available as this format for the first time. Restored and remastered. Digipak packaging with a Blu-ray and two SHM-CD discs. Comes with a 20-page photo book.

I'm not sure if it means this will only release released in Japan or not but there is no mention of bonus audio content.

Japan only or worldwide, the question remains

It depends on your country regulations. For the EU amazon jp automatically calculates VAT (that is 19 to 23 %% depending on the country) and adds 15% (or something like that) of import duties on the orders above 120 EUR. However, sometimes (this is mystery to me) those 15% are not added and in that case you'll go through your local customs.

Anyway, there should be no impport duties for Bluray+2CD or DVD+2CD. But VAT will be calculated automatically.

PS. cdjapan do not add VAT and import duties. Thus, your order will be stopped at the customs and you'll get a note to pay but not a package in your mailbox. Sometimes you can avoid custom charges if you mark your order as a gift. It can work, or not. This is a kind of lottery.

At the moment only Japanese product is announced. No word on the similar editions for the ROW.

You can pre order from Amazon jp and later cancel the order if cheaper EU or US version will pop up. But I am 100% that SHM CDs are exclusive to Japan. The ROW will get ordinary CDs.

If you do not want to go through Japanese sites jpc.de most probably will have these productd too

I ordered through Amazon Japan, $81.45 (including shipping). And their shipping is fast. Things arrive in DC faster from Japan than they do from other merchants who ship from California.

Odd it was passed for clearance in Europe if it is a Japanese exclusive. I would suspect it will be released in other markets at a later date in that case.
