altamont silence film

never see that before...

What an interesting little artifact. We, of that generation, were so heady about ourselves, how free we were compared to our parents generation, how we were going to change the world. Now, many of us from that generation are parents who'd freak out at the idea of our children - whether teens or young adults - attending such an event. I wish there was sound with this, but the visuals do fine. I wonder if there's any more footage from Altamont, still or video, that is out there. Would love to see it, as would all that linger here.

According to the YT uploader it was filmed by Andrew Gordon but I have no idea who he is.
