Stuttgart 1999: The moment when Keith played SLIDE on You Got The Silver
(I never saw him playing slide before, not even in archive material).

I had goosebumps and wet eyes!

He always did that in 1999.

He also played slide on Happy between 1972-1978 + on Prodigal Son in 1969, 1970 and 1979. If memory serves he also played slide on Might As Well Get Juiced in 1998.

12 string slide on Little Red Rooster with James Cotton a few years back, too.

Might be more as well smiling smiley

For me, the absolute best Stones-related moment I have ever had on IORR was when I read that Mick Taylor was being included on the anniversary tour. I can't even tell you how thrilled I was.

Isn´t this thread about personal memories?
I first saw him doing this in Stuttgart 1999.

You’re right. I was a little too quick there. Sorry smiling smiley

No problem. In 1999 I had a modem and internet for one year. No YouTube or DVDs...
from all my books and VHS videos I had never visualized
that Keith played slide, I always thought Brian, Taylor and Woody did it.
...until I saw him in Stuttgart doing it.

The opening bars of the studio recording of Gimme Shelter always make me feel as if I am alone in a room with Keith.

Right now.
Just watched JJF Twick open 2018
I haven’t seen it since I was there in the Pit
I didn’t plan on viewing
BBC told me I needed a 150. pound payment for a license to view 1985 Jagger Whistle test,
it’s been 105 degree plus multiple days in a row
kids r bored 2 1/2 weeks til school starts
14 year anniversary last week my thought today
means 6 years left
then the last one’s 18
That’s a sad thought
Marriage = Imprisionment

But I landed in Twickenham just now
and grinned bigger’n than I do
pump fisting too
goosebumps for sure

My first Stones concert in August 1976 on my 16th birthday at Knebworth when the announcer boomed out the bands name and I heard the opening chords of Satisfaction and then saw the band on stage with Jagger strutting out and singing the first words of the song.

A real goosebump moment. It was my first ever gig as well so I started at the top!
