I was in Warsaw. I agree about the organisation. A total shambles, especially for entry to the floor sections. I queued from 3.30 and got a poorer spot (but still good) than hoped in Gold Standing. The Stewards were clueless. However, I thought it was the best audience of the tour and I'm a Scot, who was also at the Edinburgh show. I love Poland and the City of Warsaw, and it was great to be there, as it was in Chorzow 20 years ago.

And you're a Pole and preferred Edinburgh

My personal favourite show of the tour was Coventry though, by dint of it being my 1st time in the Pit . Very strong showing by Keith that night too.

I remember talking for a while with a Polish mother and daughter and after the chaotic entrance at noon, saw the daughter front row on the big screens and thought wow, she must be some runner!

I've got eight to choose from, and the favourite is still the first O2 show in 2012, for the sheer miracle of seeing them again when it looked possible that it was all over. But Cardiff 2018 runs it pretty close.

Of the many that I attended via Periscope or Facebook, the one I'd most like to have been in the room for was Staples with that wonderful CYHMK.

Definitely you then, Czesc/Hi! I remember thinking that both you and your mum spoke very good English and also remember you liked Nick Cave a lot. I also remember you saying you were a front row specialist, and sure enough once myself, my friend and his then 14 yo son were in, we saw you up ahead, on the rail, easy to pick out with your purple head scarf . We were scratching our heads wondering how on Earth you'd done it and that you must be able to run like a hare

Even though there was a very nasty crowd incident right beside me during Jake Bugg's set, I really enjoyed that day and meeting all the people I met, yourselves included. And we got that beautiful performance of Ruby Tuesday. There was a tremendous sense of occasion, with the band's future plans then unknown and many, many superfans who'd travelled there from a long way present, just in case it was the last show . I was at both Hyde Park shows and preferred the 2nd one. And 5 years later, the story continues

Did you see yourself in any of 'Sweet Summer Sun'? We were in it at the end, as the crowd dispersed after the show.

Yes, I did! Street Fighting Man - on the screens, I am with my friends from the Netherlands Hyde Park was tough because of the weather conditions. The hottest day of the year and the run for 1,2 km... hell but worth it!

Security were useless that day, (especially dealing with the nasty incident near me when Jake Bugg was on) but one thing they did do well was to give out water to the crowd and it was much needed. I believe it was about 29C. Show 1 was very hot too.

Also when we entered, some queues were slow and checked everyone and others were fast - lots of luck involved. We ended up 4 or 5 rows back but still in a good spot.

I remember I was the first person in my gate and obviously my gate was opened as the last one. Some people were already running but I was standing there like an idiot waiting. I was crying and the bodyguard let me run. That was hard.

Yes, I did! Street Fighting Man - on the screens, I am with my friends from the Netherlands Hyde Park was tough because of the weather conditions. The hottest day of the year and the run for 1,2 km... hell but worth it!
Nick Cave, oh my, this is the wrong thread but I have plenty of things to share about Nick and me ON stage...

Security were useless that day, (especially dealing with the nasty incident near me when Jake Bugg was on) but one thing they did do well was to give out water to the crowd and it was much needed. I believe it was about 29C. Show 1 was very hot too.

Also when we entered, some queues were slow and checked everyone and others were fast - lots of luck involved. We ended up 4 or 5 rows back but still in a good spot.

I remember I was the first person in my gate and obviously my gate was opened as the last one. Some people were already running but I was standing there like an idiot waiting. I was crying and the bodyguard let me run. That was hard.

So with being held back like that with others already running, you must be able to move like a greyhound! It must have been tough on your mum to keep up. The entry to GA for both shows was total chaos and very unfair. It was probably even worse for the 1st show than the 2nd. It's often the case for festival type shows.

The same friends I was with that day were at the Eric Clapton show at Hyde Park (same day as Stones in Warsaw 9 days ago). Same BST Festival, same organisers. They now have Diamond Pit, Golden Pit and GA, which is very far away. It's no longer possble to get to the front with GA unfortunately

IMHO,The shows on this tour have had reasonably well organised queues, and I've been to 11 out of 14. Warsaw was the worst. Easy enough to get in but poor directions once inside.

I missed the 1st 4 songs but still great to be there. There were so many unknowns about that show in the run up. Keith's fingers, 1st public show (other than warmups) in Paris for over 5 years. Many, many of us thought it was all over in Aug 2007 then there were fears that Keith's book might have finished them off.

In the end I loved it and was glad I made the late trip on the day, travelling ticketless and picking one up outside on the cheap, just as I was about to turn on my heels and go home as I refused to pay more than £100.

I was previously going to give it a miss, having baulked at the ticket prices but when I saw them all on the One show on the Friday and in Crossfire Hurricane the night before, I just couldn't resist.

I was in Warsaw. I agree about the organisation. A total shambles, especially for entry to the floor sections. I queued from 3.30 and got a poorer spot (but still good) than hoped in Gold Standing. The Stewards were clueless. However, I thought it was the best audience of the tour and I'm a Scot, who was also at the Edinburgh show. I love Poland and the City of Warsaw, and it was great to be there, as it was in Chorzow 20 years ago.

And you're a Pole and preferred Edinburgh

My personal favourite show of the tour was Coventry though, by dint of it being my 1st time in the Pit . Very strong showing by Keith that night too.

- Hyde Park - run for my life haha I was on Ronnie side and had the best time ever, my ultimate dream came true
- Vienna - probably the best organized show I have ever seen and we were WALKING to our spot
- Pit A in Edinburgh
- Pit in Amsterdam (Keith side, I've got the setlist ^^) - I met there so many amazing people..
- Pit in Stockholm (Ronnie side, I've got a pick from him)
- Pit A in Warsaw (so tight in the Pit!) but I greeted the Stones at the airport, Mick and Charlie signed my ticket from Edinburgh, I'm speechless
- Pit B Stuttgart - my mom and I couldn't breathe for a looong time, I thought we will end up in the nearest hospital

If that was Hyde Park 2, I'm pretty sure I met you while we were queueing up. Are you from Szczecin and were you at the show with your mother by any chance? I remember talking for a while with a Polish mother and daughter and after the chaotic entrance at noon, saw the daughter front row on the big screens and thought wow, she must be some runner!

Definitely you then, Czesc/Hi! I remember thinking that both you and your mum spoke very good English and also remember you liked Nick Cave a lot. I also remember you saying you were a front row specialist, and sure enough once myself, my friend and his then 14 yo son were in, we saw you up ahead, on the rail, easy to pick out with your purple head scarf .

Even though there was a very nasty crowd incident right beside me during Jake Bugg's set, I really enjoyed that day and meeting all the people I met, yourselves included. And we got that beautiful performance of Ruby Tuesday. There was a tremendous sense of occasion, with the bands future plans unknown and many, many superfans who'd travelled there from a long way present. My mother wasn't running, she was queueing with me but she wasn't running. She fainted 2 songs before Satisfaction and confeti blast.She was in the 2nd row right behind me. But the amount water given that day was overwhelming. God bless those stewards who were giving it to people.

I've still got some red confeti from that day somewhere The water was vital. I saw quite a few people getting help because of the extreme heat. There were a few nasty fights in the crowd too, at both shows.

But still, great Stones memories. A year before and I thought it was all over forever.

At the end of Sweet Summer Sun, there's a young girl in the front row on Ronnie's side with a big smile and tears streaming down her face at the same time. That was Show 1 and I remembered seeing her in the queue earlier. That's what it's all about. Cheapish GA tickets with a chance to get to the front attracts more enthusiastic youngsters to the shows, hugely improving the atmosphere.

warsaw 2018 was the best. but i was only at that one. was also better than my previous stones concerts.

warsaw is a great city, very interesting place, was my 2nd time there and i spent 5 nights there, still nursing a few hangovers

i agree about the shambolic organisation regarding the floor entry, i was sent to the wrong tent to pick up my wristband, then had to be redirected to the opposite tent, even then the tunnel i went through didnt say it was for regular standing tickets, but i got there and was in the stadium with about 20 minutes to the show starting.

O2 number 1 - the sheer joy of seeing them still so good after a long gap, and for me, the sentimental pleasure of seeing them with Mick Taylor and Bill again. Coventry and Cardiff both run a close second.

If I hadn't missed the 1st 4 songs and been closer than in a seat in Level 4, I'm fairly sure O2 Show 1 in 2012 would have come out on top, but...

So instead, Coventry gets my vote, closely followed by Twickenham and Manchester , all 3 of which I attended from the Pit. Stockholm, which I saw from the 14 OF Pit was mediocre by comparison.

I've seen 22 shows since 2012 and in truth I enjoyed them all in different ways with 1 exception - Prague, which I enjoyed very little. I enjoyed the Hyde Park shows for their great sense of occasion, but looking back, they were very average shows and organisation was a shambles.

Hamburg was my favourite setlist, clocking in at 22 songs and I experienced it from the Silver Pit in a group of 10 , 8 being IORRians.

Enjoyment of a show can be affected by many things other than just the band's performance - where you were in the venue, setlist, the venue itself, sound quality, company you were with, crowd behaviour, atmosphere, organisation etc etc
