I was going to start a thread on the best sequence of songs - in chronological order, but that could span different albums. Here's mine

I Got The Blues - been there, but could never describe it the way Mick does
Sister Morphine - still sends chills even after about a million listens
Dead Flowers - what other song could follow Morphine. You start by thinking it's an upbeat country tune, then the lyrics hit you. Just brilliant.
Moonlight Mile - no words can describe how good this song is - the way Mick sings the last bit almost makes me cry
Rocks Off - just dirty
Rip This Joint - I love the brass - you almost feel it rather than hear it

There's a couple candidates, in my opinion, no particular order:

1) STRIPPED: Angie, Love In Vain, Sweet Virginia, Little Baby...

2) STICKY FINGERS: Brown Sugar, Sway, Wild Horses, Can't You Hear Me Knockin'

3) GET YER YA YAs OUT: Virtually every 4 song sequence on this CD is awesome but if you have to pick just one: Stray Cat Blues, Love In Vain, Midnight Rambler, and Sympathy for the Devil

Of all the above, it's difficult not to choose the Sticky Fingers sequence, every second is a masterpiece.

I agree re the Sticky Fingers tracks. In addition, I know that it's a greatest hits album, but Side 3 of Hot Rocks (JJF, SFM, SFTD, HTW, Gimme Shelter!!) just defines "rock and roll" so perfectly, that you could download that side and stick it in a digital dictionary.
