William Shakespeare (1564 – 1616)

Laurence Olivier (1907 – 1989)

Arsenal FC 1925 – 1934, the years of Herbert Chapman and “WM” system

Harold Pinter (1930 – 2008)

Rolling Stones (1962 - … still counting!)

That’s my personal list.

"No but, sure that Jagger read Shakespeare!"

Oh, yes... "TO BE OR NOT TO BE ... in a rock band that has so many moaning fans? THAT IS THE QUESTION... "

In 1967, April, during the Press Conference witch took place before the Stones gig in Athens, a snobbish local journalist asked: "Gentlemen, what do you know about Homer?". He probably expected some embarrassment... But Mick asked immediately: "Tell, me, now, what do you know about Shakespeare?" Micks was always sharp...

Oh, and of course...

The Young Ones

The young ones
Darling, we're the young ones
And young ones
Shouldn't be afraid

To live, love
While the flame is strong
'Cause we may not be the young ones
Very long

Tomorrow
Why wait until tomorrow?
'Cause tomorrow
Sometimes never comes

So love me
There's a song to be sung
And the best time is to sing
While we're young

Once in every lifetime
Comes a love like this
Oh, I need you and you need me
Oh, my darling, can't you see?

Young dreams
Should be dreamed together
And young hearts
Shouldn't be afraid

And some day
When the years have flown
Darling, then we'll teach the young ones
Of our own

Once in every lifetime
Comes a love like this
Oh, I need you and you need me
Oh, my darling, can't you see?

Young dreams
Should be dreamed together
And young hearts
Shouldn't be afraid
And some day
While the years have flown
Darling, then we'll teach the young ones
Of our own

england has so much to be proud of. historically.

then you see pictures of england fans in various countries, abusing other nations, chucking chairs into rivers, giving the hardman sign to any innocent passer by, wrecking pubs, etc. and you wonder where it will stop.

it will stop in russia 2018.thats where it will stop.

russians have told them so.

let the stupid english see how far they can abuse russian hospitality.
