Miss You
Prodigal Son

Route 66

Cheers....

Bård,
That is a fine list, and from what I listened to... Very well covered...
They are song more challenging than others for the rendition... Would be curious to listen to Worried About You
I'm sure you could easily play 2000 Light Years From Home... Also Monkey Man..
But what about Undercover of the Night? I guess it's quite a challenging one.. Just a thought..

In other bands I couldn't push them through. lol

Btw. It must be so great to play in the IORR band.
Normally its one or 2 people who are into the Stones. Must be so great and special to play in a group where everybody is a fanatic.
And cheers to ErwinH.Doing a fine Charlie job.

Those are indeed songs we oughta play!

Here's our Worried About You version, btw (just a rough mix, though).

I’ve done a few. Can’t remember them all, but here’s a video where I played the day before the Horsens concert in 2006. It’s only the first half of the concert.

I'm basically a hack but I'm lucky to have talented friends and the Stones always get played whenever we mess around with instruments.
One track that will always be special to me we actually managed to record. It was special because it was during a trip to Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble at Levon's place in Woodstock. A once in a lifetime trip with two of my closest friends, who I no longer see nearly as often as I'd like, and copious amounts of Miller (when in Rome).
We strung up a couple small mics (which I'd bootlegged Stones shows with) into the rafters of the little KOA cabin we rented (and christened "Little Brown") and took a stab at You Can't Always Get What You Want.
We're not the Stones but I think the joy and fun shines through.

The IORR band's setlist is 1,000 times harder to guess than the Stones' !!!!

Imho, Down in the Hole should be designated an IORR Band Warhorse grinning smiley They've made that song their own!

However, they will play what they choose and we'll find out in a week.

Hey, Elmo! Sorry it took so long to respond to this.

The Amazing Mongooses have two shows booked here in Atlanta in August:

Sunday, Aug. 5th (opening for an Allman Bros. Tribute Band) at the Smoke Ring, which is downtown near Mercedes Benz Stadium. Website:

Friday, Aug. 17th (acoustic/unplugged) at the Downwind, at the Peachtree Dekalb Airport. Website:

One other show to mention is that the Amazing Mongooses add a musician or two and play a few summer gigs as the Warlocks: A Tribute to the Grateful Dead, and we are, again, playing Jerry Day Atlanta, which is at Terminal West, in Atlanta, on Sunday, July 29th. Website:
[af0.ea1.myftpupload.com]

You can also check out our Facebook page.

Please come up and introduce yourself, because you are going to get a beer from me, and we'll dedicate a deep cut Stones tune to ya! (how about Loving Cup?)

Cheers!

Mongoose
