Stumbled upon this. You can't not hear some of these once you've heard them. Have fun.

Cher sings Dylan songs much better as Bob Dylan himself.

Its not too late, both of these legends are still with us.

Someone get Vivid on the line!
but... on second thought, maybe we should wait until they invent that time machine

Cher was so great in the 60's, when all these tracks were recorded.
She was a refreshing amazing voice and wonderful, smart funny,
uniquely beautiful, but that voice.
It's so easy to forget that because imo, she has made such a flipping
plastic nasty wreck of herself. Sort of a mess of mannerisms.
Look I think it's great to respect someone growing elderly,
like The Stones...except for Ron not too much plastic work...
(note to self: duck)
I hope that's not cruel because I don't intend it to be as I really
deeply respect those very few Sonny & Cher LP's. She was so
extremely refreshing; She soared out of the radio.
And she earned hit after hit for a long time.
Really beautiful voice back then; unaffected and really lovely resonance in deeper tones.
It's not like I think she should have retired or never done Vegas or anything.
She likes the glitz and all that; from her TV star fashion-star days...
Sort of like a female Rod Stewart. (kidding, I think)

...but I used to really respect, well I still do, her early recording work;
and for severa years. She really was tops.
She's such an easy target, I won't go on about it.
But she's talking a lot of cheap crap and looking very over-done.
Hollywood and Malibu just squeezes the soul out of artists...
except for Dylan, who is always touring.

I listened to a few seconds of Like a Rolling Stone and I found it very annoying .

I clearly remember the summer of '65 when All I Really Want to Do was popular. I really liked her version and I still do.

Well I knew Cher did Sonny and later Greg Allman but I never knew she did Dylan. Oops. Cher sings Dylan. My mistake.

Never could get into Cher. Yes, she's talented, but her voice always struck me as too Vegas / Broadway for rock.
