How far is Coventry from Manchester?

The arena parking at the Ricoh is expensive, but there is a retail park next door with extensive parking. This is usually limited to 2 hours on show/match days BUT extended if you spend a minimum £50. A bargain if you buy stuff you need anyway (there's a Tesco and an M&S).

The trains only run once an hour from Coventry Central to the Ricoh Arena but are handy if you time it right. They haven't put on any extra trains when I've been, but they do shuttle buses.

As there's more dates I will put uk map on the wall and plan my journey around
The uk.
I will use my car and buy tickets on the day or day before.I will plan it like a military operation.
I'm pleased for odean73 as his got his wish, Mabey meet up with some iorr folk for a drink.
I will be traveling from home in Windsor on the day of each concert, sometimes might be the day before.
So if anyone is in need of a lift then give us a shout, I think this tour as just
got a little more interesting.
It's gonna be a hot summer a long summer a stones summer.

What's insane about the UK rail system ?
Get on a train at Euston that's heading North towards the Midlands and get off at Coventry. It's not hard
Probably takes an hour or just over from Euston (London)

What's insane is the ticketing process, and the prices if you don't know how the system works.
At the moment, if I buy a Bristol to Edinburgh ticket, the price is about £200 for a ONE WAY journey.
In about ten day's time, that price will reduce to about £50, and steadily start increasing back towards a max of about £130.
However, if I book 4 separate journeys (WITHOUT having to change trains, just splitting the tickets), I can do it for about £30.
It is often considerably cheaper to fly from Bristol to Edinburgh VIA SPAIN than it is to take the train. That is not a sane system.
There is no logic to the price of tickets, just confusion to maximise profit.

Thanks.
Best of luck with driving and tickets, hopefully we can all meet up somewhere for a few drinks.
