Mon 26 Feb---On the same day as the The Stones UK shows are announced The Stones
tribute band The Rollin Stoned are playing The Theatre Royal, Windsor.
A nice warm up for the real thing.
They are always great VFM...and i can contemplate about how the f*** will I
find the spare cash for some Stones shows...only 3 months to go...yippee...

Glad to see another European tour, but unfortunately no Zagreb/Belgrade/Sarajevo/Ljubljana venue once again. Sarajevo was really close to happening last year with many media outlets reporting how the Stones are finally coming, but unfortunately the whole tour got shifted to autumn so the concert was abandoned.

I'll see if I will be available for Prague or Warsaw dates and hopefully attend my first Stones concert!

The tour should be called "No Stopping".
No Filter was 2017.
This is 2018.
Its confusing.
Especially when we look back in a few years and look at the tours,No Filter will have 2 seperate years listed.

Either way, any Rolling Stones tour is better then none!

They could eventually be known as No Filter pt.I and No Filter pt. II
Or maybe No Filter'17 and No Filter '18.

Wondering if there's ever been a tour by any other band with a four month break in the middle of it that has used the same name?
Just a wild guess, but maybe U2?

I'd like to get prepared if there are...Ticket Master is usually a bit of a nightmare to use on release day.

Some of those PIT packages don't sound too unrealistic relatively speaking considering you get a night in a nearby nice hotel.
That said, the one and only time I went for a VIP travel package was during the Licks tour in Stockholm which was priced at around $1700 (***apprx. £1200) - a couple of others on this board went for it also. Seemed a bit expensive prior to purchasing, but was treating myself to 40th b-day present, and in the end was easily worth it considering all that it came with. The package included an entire week at a 4 star hotel, tix to all three shows (stadium/arena/theater), transportation to and from each, first early entry for all three shows, and a bunch of merch. These new packages maybe a bit more expensive for what you get in return, but still something to consider after comparing and contrasting Pit ticket prices, nearby hotel prices, and weighing in the convenience factor, etc. Or if you happen to have alot of extra money and want to treat yourself!


***Forgot about exchange rate - in 2003 $1700 would have been closer to £900 - not the £1200 mentioned above calculated in todays economy.
Also, $1700 was for a single attendee/traveler, while packages for a shared room for two were around $1400 per person.

most important: you have to chose between pit A and pit B – hard to do without a map

On the other hand it would be nice and fitting for the boys to end it all where they started.
That is of course if this is the end. Its been the last tour every tour since Keith took up junk and other substances, now i just assume he will go on forever.

What's happened to Villa Park ???

The only other Midlands stadiums i can think of are Coventry (awful location and small) or the Molineux in Wolverhampton which is surely too small.

That's it for stadiums.

Ticketmaster says the "accessible presale" for the London Stadium is from 9am tomorrow. Earlier I got a mail from stones website saying its from 12 noon tomorrow. Anyone know which is correct? Thanks
