Simon, we'll be in touch beforehand. Beer details, etc. Saw Ry at the Glasgow Apollo in 1982 (a few days before seeing the Stones at the same venue) and in Edinburgh around the same era. Also saw him do a show with David Lyndley. Looking forward to this one. I reckon the hall will suit him well. He guested there with The Chieftans not so long ago. Like Gazza, never thought I'd get the chance to see him again.

I had the chance to see Ry in the Olympia in Paris in 2009. It was a really good show, what a guitar sound !

I sure do hope he come to Europe, that'd be a blast! P & L and Chicken Skin Music are along with all of the Stones and Who's outputs 2 of the best records ever from the 70's. Just read in MOJO he had the same favourite song as he was growing up, Cash's Hey Porter. And there is about 40 years between us! Just goes to show they don't make 'em like they used to do...
