Would you believe? Dave. Platter. who loved the stones night and day 24 -7
and was a famous rock climber. died in his sleep age 55 on Jamuarhy 29..
I was lucky enough to spend some tickets with him, namely, Giants 2003 and Baltimore 2003. I will never forget his dance during Satisfation in Baltimore.. he was the hugest stones fan that I have ever encountered. always looking for the nextstones show. and yet he was the youngest to climb el capitan back in the day.

go visit rock and ice for obituary.. For me, I will miss the daily phone calls I have been privileged to receive for 15 years. .god bless and rip Dave. my friend

There are scant records for the climbs along the ridge. There are 70 years of climbing
it has been a Life-spring for "locals"
but no published information, still.

He Was Mick Jagger . . .

Dave spent a lot of time climbing out past Bonticou
& at his home; the A frame at the end of the dirt road before it was the parkinglot.
Looking back, life at the end of the dirty rd was paradise.

some rollercoaster ride: This thing called life.

then there were more erasures - Gone?

our last telephone conversation the night he died:

listen to me listen to me, ,do you think the stones will do an album do you think they will do a tour??

would not let me answer, I think they will do more songs, I think they will tour.

this was foremost in his mind. He wanted to hear "I've got the blues". he was so bereft.

god bless.
