Micks Health Regime

Anyone got an article where Mick tells us how he stays so young and fit? I know he works out and drinks lots of water. Is that it? Does he have some super multivitamin superfood diet? Would be interested to be that healthy when I am 62.

2 completely different ways to achieve the same:
Eternal youth. Wouldnt bet my last dime on Jagger
livin longer than Keith.
And people tend to underestimate oooooool´ Keefsters health
and physical condition; the man performs 3-4 times a week now,
two hours each.
Jagger of course is unique.

Well...Mick said in the 60's that he prefers fish to meat (which is healthier, for all you un-informed folk), doesn't drink milk and doesn't eat alot of starches. He said he's not a vegetarian though so Mick probably eats alot of the foods and you and I eat.

He does alot of running...before the start of the tour he does 6 miles a day. I think I read that during the tour he tries to run about 2 miles a day. He also does dance training, rides the bike (as mentioned above) and eats healthy. Drinks a TON of water too on top of all the movement on stage. He also doesn't smoke anymore and doesn't drink on tour...and off tour I'm sure he doesn't even drink much.

I read an article about this last week. The Stones' norwegian trainer presented his book about his training philosophy. Don't remember the contents, but he pushes our boys really hard.

At the age of 47 (UJ Tour), Mick Jagger apparantly had an oxygen-obtainable level similar to the soccer players of the Scottish Premier League team Dundee United (They have the same trainer). That says a lot about his fitness.

Mick is just about as fit as any other sports man I've heard of. It's incredible.

I think if most of us followed Keef's example we would be dead and buried by 61. It is amazing that he still drinks and smokes and performs the way does. Actually it is phenomonal! Easy too understand him still alive. Thats just good genes, but too still kick ass on stage is flippin amazing to me.

Mick seems to have it down. Maybe there is something in not drinking milk. Always thought it strange to drink a cows calf feed. Keef doesnt eat cheese either.

I should have added "Don´t try this (Keef´s example) at home".
But; on one hand - what do we know of his Sunday walks with Patti,
in the New Englands forests or Weston surroundings? On the other:
What is myth and what is Keith (now I say the same thing again)?
And on the third: Always these good genes. Sure he has, no doubt.

But my point didnt pass thru in my last posting: Takin care of the Joy,
Coolness, and Grooooove in life is Keith´s thing. Isnt it?
The scholars of tomorrow will for sure be able to document that "´appy" people,
those who do what they like and not what othes tell them all the time,
they live longer and achieve better health. The opposite is already proved over & over;
unhappy people tend to develop cancer.

And I doubt Keith either do drink milk.
...But do anyone know if there are anything healthy within a Shepherd´s Pie?
maybe its the lust-makes-you-healthy-syndrom there too?

I did get your point. It is proven that happy people, surrounded by good friends live longer than depressed people who live alone. Also musical people over non-musical.

Hmmm that's probably why Dundee United hasn't done well in quite some time now!

Lunch: A horse Meat Pie with a Jack Daniels demi-glass sauce.
Dinner: Sheppard's Pie with another coupla tool kits

Exercise: play your guitar, drink your drink, and smoke your smoke, repeat.

I think Nikolai is on to something. A healthy diet is a big part of it, but there is nothing that will make a 60-something man look and feel younger than a full head of cool looking hair and a hot 20-something model!
