Hey, Mick, Keith, think about a contingency of another European mini -tour (fall tour, perhaps), after the UK gigs in the 2018!

As for gross, my calculator does "refuse" to work... It gets dizzy, seeing how many money can be earned, by just 14 gigs...

Believe me, they were "on the clock" and worked a hell of a lot more than the 32 hours they were visible on stage.

Peace,
Mr DJA

Before "No Filter" tour, the total attendance of the Stones concerts since 2012 was 3,3 million, without including Glastonbury and 4 gigs at Festival Sites from "14 On Fire Tour". Now total attendance (since 2012) does exceed the number of 4 million and, if we count Glasto and the others, it must be somewhere near 4.5 million. Only by 71 gigs...

"Stonesland" is still very strong!

Sorry, the gigs since 2012 are over 100, not 71.

These 'gross'es are from/ for the promoter/-s.
The Stones play shows at a fixed rate...
(and probably take a % of profits as well, plus 'extra-curricular' revenue like from food & drinks etc.)

The merch is 100% Stones Inc. revenue, I guess.

So the Spielberg was the most popular venue despite the expectations before the show. Without the 4 of us it would be a round number smiling smiley

Does anyone know how these Boxscores come from? I don't doubt their veracity, but just wonder where these numbers get published and why they publish them.. because why would they let the public know how much Millions they made?
And do the Promoters still get some of that money or is this already the money the band gets?

Billboard's Boxscore does publish numbers from gigs. But I think Georgelicks knew the particular numbers from No Filter Tour before their publication on the well known magazine.

Given all the current attention to tax matters..Panama Papers and now the Paradise Papers, it would be interesting to know where the bands profits are logged.
The Netherlands?
Cayman Isles or Dutch Antilles?
Can't imagine its the UK somehow.

These figures are what the promoters make. The Stones play at fixed rates (supposedly appr. $1.000.000 per band member per show).

They have their c'y business office in Amsterdam - (yes, for taxation reasons...)
widely known, published & discussed fact.
Where the actual money is: I dunno.

Not my business, I'd say.

Not for long, I heard? At least the taxes will be higher in Holland from 2020 and on...
