Semi-OT but I really recommend "To Live And Die in L.A." a great film featuring Dafoe!
The one I was thinking about is kind of NSFW, and I am may be on thin ice as it is, but if I turn out to be OK, maybe I will post it later in the week.
BTW- you are 100% about TLADILA, that was a unique movie and Dafoe was great in it.
And if you look up his body of work, it is astounding how busy he has been EVERY year, 4-5 movies per year, constantly working since 1984. 118 movies [www.imdb.com]
Leonioid, did you mean the Lars van Trier interview where he charmingly stated
that people on the set of Antichrist got "confused"?
Anyone who wants to read that (R-rated) story can just google "confusingly large"
that sort of looks like Mick without his wig.

Speaking of your user name...Dafoe would have made a sublimely malevolent Joker back in the day. He has sharp, severe facial features and a large, wicked smile. He's a bit too old now but man...could have been awesome.

That is pretty funny and I'd enjoy seeing the dance he offers.
They don't look alike but it's easy to imagine someone realizing they're looking at someone famous,
but not knowing who, and getting all excited.

I once had someone come up to me in a real nice restaurant, told me they loved my work and asked for an autograph, so I just scribbled on a piece of paper something totally illegible.....that was years ago; to this day I have never figured out who this person thought I was.

He looks more like Mick than Willem Dafoe does!

Saw Dennis Leary on The Tonight Show tonight and he said he's often mistaken for Willem Dafoe, which I can definitely see. He also mentioned Jane Lynch, but not Mick.
