Too Tight

Is there any change that this song is going to be a show-stopper? Has it ever been played live? Does it have any potential? By the way, do they still do the mindless "rock and roll run out" thing, where they drop the in between talk in the last half of the set , and do the most known songs as a medley? (very disappointing on the B2B tour)

doubt it ever will

Personally, I don't think it is good enough. Also, it's suspisciously alike one of the songs (don't remember the name, but it's their biggest hit) of the band called Live. IMO, the problem with the rockers on B2B (maybe except for LowDown) is that they're simply not good enough. Flip The Switch, for instance, I've never cared much for...

"Too Tight" is a great @#$%& song. It should have made the setlist LONG ago, along with "Too Tough", that great, unheralded rocker from 'Undercover'.

Great line in "Too Tight": I've seen it all a thousand times, I've sung that song, I wrote that f***in' book."

<along with "Too Tough">

That IS a good rocker!

I like it, too. The song was discussed some month ago and someone (I think it was Mathijs) meant it was too trying for a singer to be played on a tour.

Hello,

I think "too tight" is the most Stone sound song in the B2B album. One of this song makes you note that the Stones still can write good songs.

same as Brand new car from Voodoo Lounge and same as Let Me Down Slow from ABB.

Bye
Fernando

I think both Too Tight and Too Tough would make great B Stage songs, especially Too Tough love that one!

Too rude would be good it was great on Keiths Solo shows, and can't argue with black n blue's suggestions, hell their are just too many great tracks, you can start to see the problem the Stones must have to try and condense 43 years of great music into a 2 hour show and keep everyone happy. Pretty much impossible I think.

Big fan of Too Toght. I love how the guitars seem to blast in at the end. I can see Woody and Keith hammering the rythm of Too Tough. It would sound great live

Too Rude = Keith's duet w/ Mrs. Springsteen.

too tight-great song from an under appreciated album
of course too obscure for live performance

Patti Scialfa is only on "One Hit To The Body" as far as I'm aware

On "Too Rude", Keith is singing with Jimmy Cliff and the late Kirsty McColl, to my ears.

On the outtake, its definitely Kirsty. Her voice on it is unmistakable.

I like Too Tight and Lowdown from Bridges, but I'd rather hear Might As Well Get Jucied or Gunface.

Gazza, you may be right. The credits in Undercover are not song-specific. However, to my ears, the female voice on Too Rude sounds very much like Patti. Anyone else know for certain?

Too tight is very good, on a very poor album - but that drum sound just wastes it completely - too bad! Much too much trebles. But Jagger and guitars do shine.
