Having listened to the album now 7 or 8 times, I'd have to say that my absolute top picks thus far are:

(1) Laugh, I Nearly Died

(2) Rough Justice

(3) Rain Fall Down

(4) Let Me Down Slow

(5) Back Of My Hand


(Incidentally, I have something amusing to share with you. Given that the words of the song titles on the album cover are not sepearted by spaces, my girlfriend looked at the track list and quickly proclaimed, "Laugh In Early Died, what sort of crap title is that?").....

Risers are Sweet NeoCon and Biggest Mistake, esp. the first is growing on me more and more after initially disliking it. And Micks 'whoo-whoo'-singing in BM is wonderfull.
Fallers are It Won't Take long and Driving too Fast: much too generic in my ears.
And even though they're quite catchy, the funky songs don't really seem to grow on me.

We should make a thread with risers and fallers - A Bigger Bang stock exchange.

I love them all my least favorite had to have been Sweet NeoCon. I thought it would have been set to a very fast tempo. A blistering rocker perhaps. Oh well, I still love the album. They made a straight forward rock album that was fresh and sounded unlike thier other stuff without sounding like rap or some crap like that. After listening to the rehearsals of ONNYA I thought ABB would sound like SomeGirls (not that that would be bad) but was even more suprised and pleased when it was some thing new and very different.

Biggest Mistake ...Oh I can identify with this one.
ONNYA... ditto from above.
Both of Keith's songs..Just awesome I love the harp and acoustic guitar on this one.

though I have to say Sweet NeoCon, This Place is Empty and Let me Down Slow have all really grown on me also. I liked them at forst, I LOVE THEM now...
