The booklet of A Bigger Bang tells us who's playing the guitars, but not if it's a acoustic or a electric one. I know there are some guitar players among us, so what do you think?

- It Won't Take Long:

- Rain Fall Down:

Electric guitars: Keith & Ronnie?

- Streets Of Love:

Electric guitars: Mick, Keith & Ronnie?

- Back Of My Hand:
Only electric guitars?

- She Saw Me Coming:
Only electric guitars?

- Biggest Mistake:
Acoustic guitars: Mick and Keith?
Electric guitars: Mick, Keith & Ronnie?

- This Place Is Empty:

I am not listening to the album at the moment and don't know it that well yet, but fro sure there are Accoustics on "Let me Down Slow" and "Biggest Mistake". I'd say it was Jagger on Acc on Bigest Mistake. I think there might be some Acc on RJ. Keith loves to add Acc on electric tracks.
I think the elctric in the solo on SOL is Jagger.

Who plays the rythmic guitar on It won't take long?
I am not sure it is Keith.
Maybe it is Mick: It makes me think of the way he plays on Sway.

The solo on SOL is ridiculous.

Is it just me or does a lot of the guitar tones sound an awful lot like the Faces back in the early 70's

<Who plays the rythmic guitar on It won't take long?>

Keith. Mick can't do the syncope like that.

<- This Place Is Empty:
Acoustic guitar: Keith?
Electric guitars: Mick & Keith?>

Don't forget Mick's acoustic slide guitar on TPIE.

It sounds like a Keith syncope but I am not sure it is.
Remember Sad Sad Sad: it is difficult to guess that mick is playing on this one.

Hey Skippy, That's exactly what I think. Listen to the intro licks on RJ, very Faces like sound and feel.

I ain't stupid, I'm just guitarded.

<- Infamy:
Only electric guitars?>

The guitar that "answers" Keith's riff is obviously acoustic, and I'm almost certain it is played by Keith.

Keith does the main riff. Listen to the ending of the first line of the riff in the intro - there's that reggae-twist that he always does.

I THINK KEITH IS LEFT CHANNEL LIKE ALWAYS ON THIS ALBUM AND MICK IS LEFT AND RON IS MIDDLE?

<I THINK KEITH IS LEFT CHANNEL LIKE ALWAYS ON THIS ALBUM AND MICK IS LEFT AND RON IS MIDDLE?>

Sometimes Keith plays both channels, like on She Saw Me Coming. IMO, the best guitarwork on the album!

Is here another guitar in the middle? Electric?

Dandelion: yes, I think you're right, it must be Keith doing the main riff!

Keith is indeed on both channels, Mick doing rhythm in the center channel some parts, but the fills is done by Keith. Ron only on slide.

- She Saw Me Coming

I still think it's Keith only doing the rhythm on the left channel. Ronnie is playing the fantastic fills on the right. Well, i can't imagine it's Keith... it's too high on the neck and too fast licks. Otherwise, if it is Keith, it's amazing and surprising. Great guitarplay!

Ronnie is playing the fantastic fills on the right.

Would be a good topic. On B2B a lot of guitar work was done by Waddy Wachtel (great job and a fantastic guitarist) which on ABB Mick is playing. I think Mick and Keith know exactly Ronnies limits and let him do only what he is really good at.
